So Saint James was written by Brian Haner jr (synyster gates) and he described the song as "the light to 'so far aways' dark'". This song is meant to be that they will no longer mourn the death of the friend, but instead celebrate his life and all the memories they had together. The bar noises you hear at the beginning are from Johnny'sBar in Orange County CA, a place where the band frequents whenever they're home in California.

The song Victim by Avenged Sevenfold was written by their lead vocalist M.Shadows, and it was the first song he wrote after The Rev passed away. The song focuses on how M.Shadows felt dealing with The Rev’s passing, and its guitar solo is absolutely beautiful; one of the best I’ve ever heard

I wanted to let you guys know how awesome I find this channel. I have listened to metal since the mid 80s. My whole life I have felt persecuted and looked down upon just for the music I like to listen to. I’ve always seen metal as one of the greatest art forms in existence. It’s not pop or country where the artists hire a band, pay for people to write the music, auto-tune their vocals to sound better. Metal bands write the lyrics, the music, the composition. Look at a band like Septicflesh, one of the brothers that formed the band is a classically trained conductor, they brilliantly fuse metal and classical music, (re: Dark Arts). But I digress, I was raised Catholic and I always found it super hypocritical that we could watch the latest blockbuster movie with guns, violence, sex, etc. But if I wanted to listen to metal then I was a sinner. You guys may not know but google Dee Snider from Twisted Sister testifying in congress in the 80s. Congress was trying to shut down metal music saying that it was evil, violent, etc. I can, especially with Sori, see how much you guys appreciate metal as an art form. The way Sori felt after the Ne Obliviscaris song is the way I have felt my entire life. Metal is intelligent, thought provoking, beautiful, and emotional. I seriously want to thank you guys from the bottom of my black and shriveled heart. 😜

My friend has exactly the same sweatshirt as Sori lol Although, she is a much more aggressive version of Sori, who will cuss you in Russian for not liking her music. Or for daring to ask her a question when she is not in "the right mood to it" :| Well, needless to say, her boyfriend was walking on eggs shells. A great girl nonetheless, just with a hot temper. I'm not into Avenged Sevenfold, or anything with "core" in it for that matter... But great reaction mates. Since you told us to annoy you, then Nile - "Annihilation of the Wicked". Call for Destruction was a bit extreme in terms of the music (Especially for a first time). Annihilation of the Wicked is a perfect example to Nile and their sound/lyrics.
