It's probably one that was gifted to him to check out before anyone else. He did a meet and greet with gates and they seemed to hit it off extremely well so he likely became really good friends with the guy and so when they did a new setup he thought about Hector, just a theory. Same way you get promoted at work the hiring manager thinks of you when that time comes.

Happy to see you still going strong making videos. I remember getting my syn gates guitar from similarly constantly begging my parents as a graduation present 😂. Your avenged sevenfold solo covers always inspired me to keep playing and I enjoy coming back to hear your own stuff now. I absolutely love this brother. Not just because they are all syn guitars, but the stories, the mods, the love you give them. I currently have a 21' custom s black and gold, and a 10' custom white and gold. I'm trying to save up ad quick ad I can to get the pink syn custom on Reverb from drum city.

Hey you mention a lot about switching your pickups out, I recently just got a red rum with custom red syn Duncan invaders. I’m not a huge fan of them and I’m trying to find chrome syn Duncan invaders. Do you possibly have a set that you have lying around?

What on earth favor do you do to get a limited production run model for free?!? Part of me is scared to ask but the other part of me is extremely curious 😅 I wasn't a super huge fan of the dark knight model as iv always been the red rum fan since the beast and the harlot video but the high gloss stripes on satin body looks pretty cool. Not something I would own personally but hey man long as you like it that's super cool 😎 have a wonderful day 👍😁

Man I really hope they keep releasing new colors on the production models. I’m nervous they are just going to stick with the current three options (black silver, gold black, and satin gold) and only release new uber-expensive USA models or 20-something limited runs that have insane prices.

Agreed! I miss the 2010-2015 era of Syn guitars when new colors of the production models would be released left and right

It's hard to tell for sure, but the unknown pickup on the Shrek-ter might be a Detonator. My Schecter Reaper has one, or at least it looks identical to it. To my ears, it's still similar to an invader, but it has more output.

I don't have them that high up. Don't really have a specific height. I just make sure the pickup doesn't touch the strings when I palm mute then I'm good!
