This house has potential. There is a proper entry from both the front and from the garage. Four fireplaces is overkill, so I'd eliminate two or three of them. The kitchen has just about enough counter space, and though there is only one upper cabinet there is a pantry closet for storage. There is a provision for a stairway to the basement! I'd redesign the master bathroom to include a more practical tub and a more private toilet cubicle.

Beautiful home. However, I'd ditch that kitchen island and reconfigure that laundry room and make them sides by sides. The back porch area is gorgeous!

Plenty kitchen counter space but where would glasses, plates, bowls go? Not enough cabinetry. I would be happy to see a finished basement too. Who needs the upper level when a rec room, bar and 1-2 bedrooms and a full bath could be in the basement?

I believe what appears as a glass door on the bathroom is a POCKET door. They are popular space savers

Agreed - that pantry had better be enormous! And from the plan, it isn’t. Only possible rescue is to move the island onto the end of the sink counter to form a U shape and add upper cabinets the dining room portion of the counter and new el. #13 bath needs help too - toilet in VERY awkward location. Maybe swap toilet and tub? Hope those fireplaces are gas - would hate to be lugging firewood all over the place. And I’d turn that bedroom off the kitchen into a home office/craft room in a heartbeat and convert that closet into a pantry as well.

Ditch the "mud room", move the washer and dryer to the garage and use that space to enlarge the kitchen. 😉👍

@@rickbrown7287 With washer and dryer, put stackables in the closets. I am planning a house now and I'm putting a w/d in the master closet and one in the upstairs for the teenagers. In this, I'd put the w/d under the stairs. A mud room is essential here, except I'd use this one as a huge pantry and find a way to put a mudroom entrance in another area. Putting a w/d in the garage in Montana isn't practical. I don't want to heat a garage. And the water to the washer would freeze. I'd rather have to the w/d where the clothes are kept than hauling laundry back and forth to a w/d elsewhere.

​@@rhiahlMT I never would have thought about putting stackables in the bedroom closets. That's an idea. But my wife needs ALL the closets she can get. 😂 I see why they cant go in your garage. Montana does get a bit colder than here in Texas. 🥶 My w/d are in the garage and in 35 years have only froze once. They are now insulated VERY well. BTW...... Montana is a beautiful state. Iam a trucker, been through it plenty of times, but your winters are just too long for me. 🤪👍

This house would be my favorite out of all the houses i have seen so far on this channel. ABSOLUTELY love all the fire places! Wood burning in the living room and gas in the bedrooms. 😉👍 But that kitchen kills it for me. Wanna see this house be over the top? Reconfigure the master bath. Switch places with the shower and toilet. Redo the fireplace in the living room. It just looks a little to "plain" to me and could possibly be a little bigger. If the only place for a tv is above the fireplace, make the fireplace "floor level" so the tv wouldn't have to be so high on the wall. That AWFUL kitchen. Do away with that mud/laundry room. Add that space to the kitchen. The washer and dryer could be in the garage. Other than that..... I like the loft area. A pool table or a theater would work for me. The bedroom could be an office or a computer room too. You guys/gals did a GREAT job on this one! LOADS of extra points for the garage and the basement!!! 😎👍 Id be VERY happy with it of the kitchen was the only thing changed. BUT..... I could take care of that. ✌😎

This home is beautiful, but puzzling. Three bedrooms, each having a bath with a double vanity? The kitchen island position only allows access to the wall oven and microwave from the side, not the front, and does the same to the dishwasher. Quite awkward, especially for the ovens. I'd eliminate one of the main floor bedrooms and baths, move the living room and and use that space to create a larger kitchen and dining area.

I would like really like this floor plan, but here's the things I don't like, and question! Yes, I realize it's just me! I hate spiders and when you have a completely open porch like these with high vaulted ceilings, you can't kill the spiders and keep them out! And you can have birds nesting in the gables holding up the roof!! Is this a weekend house? There really isn't enough cabinet space in the kitchen or a pantry. Unless you're pretty tall, the upper oven, or microwave, is too far up to reach without a stepstool. I also didn't see a screen on any of fireplaces or the place to add a free standing screen. Considering there is only one chimney, I have to assume the fireplaces in the bedrooms are all non working and are just for looks. Something I've noticed with every one of these videos, not just yours, is there is never a drain in the showers! Cute little house but not for me!

The kitchen is definitely a bust. And, where does the tv go? I don’t think above the fireplace would work. And, this designer NEVER shows the closets.

I wanted to love it, but it feels way too ambitious with too many additions. Total front half is cramped. Foyer needs some closed storage if for places with real winter. Many boots and coats won't fit or look nice in that limited storage. Closet in bedroom near garage is too small a doorway. Room too small for fireplace.Master bath needs reworking for access to toilet....really, that's what you used the most. Make it accessible. Upper bedroom bed is either too big, or need to make room wider so second person isn't constantly contortions to get around the roof slope. So much wasted space up there.plunge pool looks too close to sliding door to avoid mishaps. No obvious break in railings to access yard as a fire escape. The kitchen.....😢😢

People who design these homes need to stop and think where do most average people spend most of their time. 1. The kitchen this kitchen is not close to being big enough. 2. Living area, I,m sorry but not a very good design.

Horribly insufficient kitchen. Also, laundry room has spacious floor area, but then the machines are over there so tight in the corner. Again, like many of their homes, it LOOKS nice at the surface, but the practicality is just not there.

That kitchen is horrible. Way too small and no cupboard space. I couldn’t cook in that kitchen at all.
