Rogue Squadron Journal Week 254 - Deltooine Capt. Witton Bogre - Rogue 4 Things have gone from bad to worse. Thanks to command's insistence to open a third front against CorSec, we've invited disaster. Over the course of the last month we've experienced attacks all across Alliance and now have a fourth front. From Eriadu to Telos. Not long after IG-88's arrival above Eriadu all contact was lost, a few days later Vader hit Cato Neimoidia. The fleet in the Mid-Rim was able to respond and drive the Imps away but not before Darth Vader himself destroyed Admiral Talon's Flagship. Now the Mid-Rim fleet is essentially leaderless, the loss of Admiral Talon and the crew complete. To make matters worse a couple weeks later, a large CorSec fleet struck Korriban and seized the planet in a matter of hours. Cutting off the Northern sector of the Alliance, and us, from much desperately needed reinforcements to continue the offensive against CorSec. Admiral Ackbar and the home fleet was pulled from the Wheel to counter the CorSec fleet, slamming into them and wiping them out totally. Then a day later we received word that Telos was attacked by a massive Black Sun fleet sent from Mandolor. Fires rage across the Rebellion and, like always, there's not enough of us to put them all out. While the fleet at Deltooine licks it's wounds and reinstates several rebel prisoners that Rogue and Saber squadron freed from a hidden CorSec prison in the Tritus cluster, thanks to Kyle Katarn's intel. The Liberation is being sent to a hidden rebel training base behind our lines on a small rocky world called Vas. We're to help accelerate the training of several troops and piolts to supplement our depleted forces. Anything to get a break from all the recent missions we've had to pick up as of late. Captain Shack has run Rogue Squadron ragged trying to keep the offensive from stalling. Although with recent attacks, it may already have.

I think you should hit Mandalore directly while their attack fleet is out. You can do it. Then finish off the CSA.

Do you have enough to take out Mandalore? If you do, that frees the Mandalore fleet. If not, use it to mop up CorSec FAST then move back south.

He doesn't have the forces to wipe out CorSec. Personally, I think CorSec at the moment is toothless unless they have a fleet he doesn't know about sitting around. I think he should wipe out the Mandalorian fleet with a two pronged approach, then build up for Mandalore. In the south, Ord Ibana is pretty much defenceless against IG if he decides to attack, so taking him out with that cobbled together fleet really would be Shacks only real hope even if he loses most of the fleet.

23:20 That's why you place the shield bubble MC80s in the middle and engage shield when the other ships come under fire. If you pop that shield when the Justice itself is targeted, you're just increasing the hit rate.

Shack, build the Mandator over Kuat. It frees up your entire feet over at Kuat and allows you to send the Kuat fleet to the north or to continue your campaign against the Empire westwards

1 Build the mandator added to the Doom donut ig-88 defense fleet. Use Home1 to put out fires. Add the independence the corsec fleet. But most develop ground forces to defend in the South and conquer in the North

Its a shite job, and generally one only ordered to troops who know death is the preferable outcome to capture, or who are so ideologically zealous that they will die on command. You basically need troops that are immune to common concepts like morale and fear.

Personal Log Davon Cress, serving onboard Venator-Class Battlecarrier "Liberation" Liberation QRF The Black Sun staged a large offensive down south, cutting off the rebel highway and nearly splitting our territory in two. Their flagship is an extremely modified Lucrehulk, functioning as a gigantic brain for a droid fleet. This thing managed to get all the way to Eriadu, annihilate the garrison in conjunction with an imperial uprising, and fortify the orbit. However, our newly formed southern fleet did manage to drive it out of the system. The planetside battle is still pending. We've got news coming from the core too. Talon is dead. An imperial strike force over Cato Nemoidia got the drop over our garrison. Talon sent in his fleet to deal with it, ending up in Vader's crosshairs. While we did heavily damage his flagship, he managed to take out Talon's ship before making the jump to hyperspace. All hands lost too. We'll be holding a short military funeral for Talon in Kuat. As for our front, CorSec pushed out and hit Korriban. Our defenses managed to destroy a few escorts, but that's about it before they were overwhelmed. Ackbar's fleet was later sent to respond to the attack. Ackbar's idea was to use the disabled gravity well to create a killing field to use against the enemy, while soaking up the damage in his ship. The battle went well. A couple of losses, here and there, but the entire CorSec fleet is pretty much gone. This may spread their frontlines thinner, meaning only good things for us. Now, I've been surveiling the Empire for a while now. Mostly checking in on comms. Things are pretty desperate. I've heard that multiple imperial officers have been going to and from Zhar and The Maw, bypassing our sensors via IFF spoofing. C-9 also picked up on encrypted communications sent to Admiral Torres supposedly from the emperor himself. We only got a fragment, and much of the code requires extreme labour to crack. As far as I know, there's a decryptor in either the bridge or quarters of high-ranking officers, so we may have to break into one to decrypt whatever the hell they're talking about. Meanwhile, there's talks for the potential reactivation of the Kuat Dreadnought Assembly Array. Blueprints for an imperial dreadnought class designated "Mandator" were recently found in the archives, and we could potentially have the resources to build one. To have our own dreadnought would be a massive boost to our navy. Shack however says that it would only stay in Kuat to defend it's shipyards from the empire, so long as the planet remains in the frontlines. I'll be looking forward to the construction. Captain's log: Kuat was a beautiful place, lush beaches and great drinks. Really enjoy them, sadly shore leave was over. I was on my transport back to the phantom, I was expecting any thing but chaos, I was dead wrong. Admiral talon order a full staff meeting on the silent water so I was force to reroute my shuttle back to his ship instead. By the time I got to the bridge, everyone had a look of dread on there faces. Some how, the black sun downloaded IG 88 into a old Cis donut ship. My father called the donuts with how there shape but I know those monsters are huge, bigger than a ISD for starters. I was curious on it's fighter count though cuz of the huge hangers it has. As we couldn't get any more problems stacking, probes report empire movement near cato Neimoidia. Talon gave the orders and all us captain's head to are ships. I hope we got something to deal with these threats, we are stretch then. Pray that we make it to Cato in time. "If u want peace, then u always got to be ready war". End log

You should take your fleets to chase the Black Sun away from the north. Then, take your fleets and focus all effort towards CSA. Once you do that, you should then take out Mandalore. That would set you up in a good position. Love these videos. ❤

Your fleet over Korriban has enough capital ships to start splitting it into two separate fleets. One to defend against the Black Sun while to other works to take over the Corp Sec planets. Getting rid of Corp Sec in your back line is probably priority number one in the north, even if it means losing Yavin and Telos temporarily to do it.

Admiral's Personal Log: SSD Lusankya, Captured Rebel Flagship. Somewhere in the Outer Rim. It's come to my attention that Captain Shack and his obsolete, yet still reliable Liberation is beginning to take substantial casualties in his admittedly foolish war on 3 fronts and deliberately ignores the advice sent to him by his officials. Whilst this would be punished by a demotion, or reassignment to ground duties, his bullheaded stubbornness has so far been what we in the Rebellion need. However, as this continues, we're beginning to take more losses in men and materials. I hope that we won’t be needed, but I have niggling thoughts that we eventually will. I continue to work with my ship and crew to ensure we're at peak conditions should we have no choice but to assist him. This is Admiral Ventaros of the Lusankya, out.

Alright. Right now, there are two solutions to beating Mr Donut. Either overwhelm it with fighters or with corvettes. For Fighters, it will take very high amounts of credits and time, building mass amounts of A-wings to shred fighters and other bombers to kill corvettes. Corvettes seem to be the better option. Here’s a suggested fleet: A core of 2 MC-30c to crush the donut’s heavy armour, a few EF-76’s to deal with missile spam, an abundance of CR-90 and Hammerhead corvettes (a bunch of both, as CR-90 is better at fighter-killing and Hammerhead can be used to kill both fighters with its dorsal turret and corvettes and up with its accurate medium turbos) with a generous sprinkle of GR-75 repair ships.

Rebel Diaries 44 - This is one of those days where success feels like failure. The Black Sun has taken Eriadu, and while a new southern fleet has reclaimed the orbit, it's still massively underpowered and will need additional ships. Reports are yet to come in, but I'm not sure that the ground forces are going to be strong enough to reclaim the former Imperial world... though it may be interesting to see on what happens on the ground there. Maybe with control from space, things may do better. Perhaps agent Katarn could be sent down to deal with the Black Sun droids. Reports have indicated he seemed rather depressed by reports that the Alliance defeated the Empire's Dark Trooper Project earlier in the war while he was a prisoner of the Corporate Sector. And the Black Sun also remains a major threat, and which continually shows that the high command's decision to go after the Corporate Sector was one made in error. I am not defending the Corporate Sector, nor am I opposed to taking them on... but we've had a massive Black Sun pocket around Mandalore to put down for a while now, and one that has had at least one large fleet and a strong force of droids... some are carry overs from the Clone Wars and some are more powerful than anything the CIS had. Not to mention that there was a world in the Mandalore Pocket that is directly controlled by the Empire. It's where we would have been better served to defeat the Mandalore Pocket first before getting into anything related to the Corporate Sector. Now, it is too late. The Corporate Sector is in the war and has taken Korriban. They've taken the ground there and cut the Northern Fleet, which is in desperate need of reinforcements after their initial attack on the Corporate Sector. They need capital ships and fighters, frigates and escort ships... and I am not aware of any major shipyards in the north that we control. I've had to pull my fleet from the Wheel to destroy that Corporate Sector fleet, and I am pleased to report its destruction... but ground forces from all over the region must be brought into the area to reclaim the planet and fortify our position in the region, before the Black Sun takes further advantage than they already have. And trust me, they have. Reports have come in that a massive Black Sun fleet has hit Telos. Another world with little to nothing on the ground. The space garrison inflicted some damage on their light ships... but not enough to really make hitting that fleet possible. And where the raid into the Corporate Sector was ill timed. For now, we are engaged in two wars on two fronts and are outnumbered and have no direct lines of control or reinforcement. We can raid the Black Sun... but that will leave us open to the Corporate Sector and they will attack. As such, we now need another large fleet in the region, not just to reinforce us but to hold a precarious line... not to mention that we will need ground forces and armored units to take on the Corporate Sector and the Black Sun... It feels like we've walked into the biggest trap ever set. And areas where we've had good news haven't been much better. The Empire struck at Cato Neimodia with a modest force lead by Vader. Reports would indicate that the Core Fleet was able to respond and actually defeated Vader's force and destroyed his flagship... but we also lost Admiral Talon in the process. So, yes, we've won a battle with the Empire... but we've lost a good friend doing it. - Admiral Ackbar.

In my opinion, you now have 4 fleets. Core Defense, Mon Cal Sector, Cor Sec Attack and Outer Rim. With the new MC80 Independence, it looks as if you can make a 5th fleet with the Independence as it's center. I would use it either as a defense fleet or heavy offense but not artillery. You are doing alot of response but I think it might be better to attack Mandalore. With the Black Sun not at home, there is nobody to stop you at the door so just smash through it and sit on it.

Even if you can't spare the ground troops right now, take the orbit and leave a patrol behind so they can't get off the surface. Mop them up at your leisure.

Been sitting on idle fleets for way too long they've had time to build up. Admiral, we need to fall back and regroup! Call back in Skull Squadron, we're needed now more than ever! My suggestion is to deal a decisive blow to the CSA (Not CorSec aka Corellian Security) to secure our back lines. CSA is currently weak with the loss of one of it's major fleets, let's not give them time to recuperate from that. Now is the time to strike; a good offense is a good defense.

Ig88 D is actually pretty squishy. It’s main fighting power is through its fighters. The hull and hardpoints are easy to destroy. If you can catch it on its own, just go hard anti-fighter, bomber and an interdict or and you’re good, no more IG88

Commander's Log Deltooine Week 254 Whoever was responsible for ordering the war with the Corporate Sector, I want to shoot the bastard. Forces across Alliance space have been running themselves ragged trying to put out all the fires our enemies are lighting. In the South, the Empire launched a new offensive, with Darth Vader in the vanguard. Admiral Talon ralloed the Southern Fleet to drive him back at Cato Nemoidia. In the end, Talon was killed, his flagship destroyed by heavy volleys from Vader's flagship. Most of the other ships in the fleet were destroyed too, thankfully. Meanwhile, unlike Cato Nemoidia, Eriadu has fallen, the Black Sun occupied it, with traitors amongst the local population, many of them former Imperials. Talion, Tanya, and I were particularly pissed at this news, and have asked the commanders down south thay any Imps we pardoned personally be shipped up here for us to have a... "chat" with them once Eriadu is an Alliance world again. Up here in the north and east, fires blaze fresh on Telos and Korriban, with the Black Sun blockading thr former, the latfer occupied and being plundeted by Corporate bastards. The bulk of the Mandalore and Corporate Fleets have been deployed to those worlds, they are out of position and would make good prey. Meanwhile, Deltooine has been cleaned up. Any and all remaining Corpos and their allies have been rounded up and imprisoned, or killed. Sadly, our supply chains are being strained and the Northen Fleet is running low on stores for ammunition, spare parts, and we've been bled of plenty of manpower. The Third's a week or so out from getting the reinforcements we've requested from Atramenta, so we're hoping we don't have to worry about going on more raids, the last few have been a bit costly, Suns are starting to poke around at the outskirts of our sector and they're not in the mood for us kicking their teeth in again. In the meantime, we'll be heading for some shithole named Vas tomorrow, apparently they've been wanted us to go there for a few weeks by now and train the new blood there. Sorry to say shack, I started a game of my own recently. I'm playing the imps though, and I was going to make this big meme about "our fight will be legendary.png", when I finally encountered your hero. Well in my first battle with the alliance, I unknowingly did you real dirty and I felt so bad. Saw the venerator and didn't think much of it at first, but I was running a fleet of one arquitens, and then entirely to spawn cap of the gozamti fighter transporters. The arquitens was the sacrificial lamb while the gozantis and fighter mass swept through to the base in waves as they cleared out the small craft that was a risk to the bomber hoard I had. Well they did their job, and the venerator was the first to get back to the their base where the gozantis and last few fighters were keeping the skies clear and grinding the enemy station down. So I had the bomber swarm chase the venerator down, which was it's own kind of funny to watch them chasing it around the map for a while. Suffice it to say, at the end of the battle, I was surprised to look up on the enemy losses and saw your hero. "Aw shit, that's not how I wanted that to go down, I did my boy dirty :(" I also killed the mandator a few engagement later with that same fleet, and some other added capitals when it was detoothed.

Tactical Advice: Think a strategic blow against enemy production assets is called for. A massive raid on fondor, blitzing CorSecs remaining stations, and as others have said knock on mandalors door while the defense fleet is out on a milk run. Commiting your ground armies to defense and using the fleets to make sure enemy losses are permanent

With the SOuthern fleet, seems smart to recapture Eraidu to secure the Rebel Highway. Unless it decides to fight the Empire, killing the Lucerhulk is probably for the best. Perhaps build up a ground force too, for the eventual push into the Black Sun territory and the Empire. With the Northern fleets, I think the better idea is to hook one fleet South to Mandalore, while it's undefended and the main CSA fleet is down. Then get as many ships together to take out the large Black Sun fleet. Just uniting all the ships and immedieatly to go for the Black Sun fleet is a good idea too. You'll need a sacrificial ship for that fight. Black Sun are a bigger threat, so I'd prioritize taking them out before you refocus on the CSA.

Try to soften up the black sun defense fleet up in the north while u try to destroy the ig-88 hulkership sorry for misspelling the name though but destroying this ship will give u breathing room for conjuring up soliders to defend and hold onto the planets that surround hoth. Also getting and receiving more credits for the rebel alliance ssd mandator to protect kuat just saying though but wish u luck captain shack.

It might be a good idea to probe the enemy at Telos, weaken them down little by little. When the Independence finishes, i'd suggest creating a new fleet with it, split some of the ships from the Home one fleet maybe and take out the orbit of CorSec so they wont be a threat anymore. It would also be fruitful to use the amassed fleet for the Doom Donut to chase them out if they approach, while all that is going on try to save for the Mandator so you can open up the Kuat defense fleet and send them down to fight the Donut. CorSec is surrounded but you only need one fleet not two to finish them off. Just make sure that the fleet laying siege to those worlds has artillery ships. Your goal isn't to destroy their fleets, you've already done that. Your new goal is to protect the MC80a as they lay siege to the enemy space defenses. You don't have to take the rest of CorSec's planets, just destroy their ability to produce ships. Take the orbits, leave a unit, and then send the fleet to join the fight elsewhere. Then you can take CorSec planets at your leisure. With CorSec space secure within your back line you would now have two fleets freed up to work with. My suggestion is to have one of the two fleets within CorSec space attack Mandalore right away while the enemy fleet is at Telos. Then once CorSec is secure have the other fleet retake the orbit of Telos. If time is of the essence and you need both of your fleets now, just take the orbit of Etti IV and pen CorSec up. That way they can't do anything without you knowing about it.

hit mandalor, they are weak now, take away half of the black sun's remaining cap shipyards and you will neuter them harshly and depending on if the mod allows it gain mandalorian warships for yourself.

Finish off CorSec and Mandalore. Then spend a few income cycles shoring up defenses and making sure all your buildings are getting bonuses from planets. Maybe get a bunch of sensors and spies to try to find where Black Suns ground tech is?

Thompson and his advisor Dr.Gonzo to send some Spies into key Black Sun bases for as much intel as possible. IG-88 Is not as predictable as we once thought. Sorry for the loss of The Hero Admiral of The Justice, at least you were able to take out Vader again, that guy can't stay down, he's like some evil Jack n The Box that keeps popping up. We at Rebel High Command believe that it's time for you to reassess your fleets create new ones. The Home One and her sister ship "Homie 2 The Real G Ride" will add more firepower but also with these 2 new Capital ships, a new way to build fleets might be needed. We will leave that up to you as you have shown the be the most capable and surgical Admiral, Commander, and General we have. The Mandator. As much as we'd like to give you the green light on that, we have to as said before rebuild some fleets for a new era of fighting The Empire as well as The Black Sun. Once we secure our supply lines again as well as get a resemblance of stability. Commanders Log: Commander Rylan “Saber 1” Brask. Alliance Fighter Squadron Lead [X-Wing Squadron: Callsign - Saber] Well We’ve got good news and bad news. I’ll start with the good news first. Mon Cala has officially started backing the Alliance and we’ve wiped out a CorSec fleet that attacked Telos taking it in a matter of hours. Bad news. Admiral Talon is dead. Word is Vader saw personally to that. Apparently the fleet managed to avenge Talon but the Kuat fleet is now without a proper commander. Also our supply lines are completely severed in the north, which is bad. Like, very bad. We need those supply lines so we can get much needed reinforcements to The Liberations fleet and finish off CorSec sooner rather than later. A massive Black Sun fleet has hit us, with the size of it Intelligence thinks it came from Mandalore. If we didn’t have to put out so many fires already it would be prime time to take Mandalore or at least blockade it. Speaking of Black Sun fleets, the Lucrehulk got away. A desperate all call was put out in the South to rally any rebel forces in the nearest 5 systems from Eriadu. With that ship being so close to Hoth it had to go. The cobbled fleet at least managed to chase it off but it would’ve been better if it had been destroyed outright. In terms of reinforcements the only thing we have going for us is some fresh troops we will be picking up off of Vas. It's a small rocky world embedded deep in our back line. Command seems to think it's a rather safe place to dock and help to accelerate the training of new troops using fresh command staff and The Liberations training facilities. I won’t complain it's better than having to stick around the Lib all day. Love the ship don’t get me wrong but I’m getting antsy just sitting around here. In more personal news, Joules got an encoded message from General Kota explaining general parts and the process of building a lightsaber. Janson: "We've pushed the piolts here hard and gotten them used to standard combat tactics. A few others have been given advanced courses. Some may have just learned to fly not long ago, but they can at least defend themselves effectively now. A vast majority are off the simulators and are in real fighters now thanks to Saber's assistance." Rasskin: "Any standouts?" Janson: "Two. Corran Horn and Gavin Darklighter." Witton: "These two scored the highest in the Redemption scenario. They've been the only ones to keep pace with our expectations. Exceed them in some areas." Rasskin: "I figured as much. They've managed to exceed our top marks too." Janson: "I think if Wedge were here he'd say they were worthy of being selected for Rogue Squadron." Rasskin: "That's high praise commander." Shack: "Wasn't there a Biggs Darklighter in Red Squadron at the battle of Yavin? Any relation?" (Janson and Witton share a knowing look. Each having served at Yavin base alongside Biggs.) Once completing it's task, it retreats away from the base and back to it's original landing spot deep in the wastes that stretch out before the three defense posts that guard the Rebel base. Some flash, some detonators. Slinging his rifle on his back he tucks his helmet under his arm and turns to face the other 4 members of his squad.) Harbinger: “Gentlemen, you understand your orders correct?” Harbinger Squad(in unison): “Yes Agent!” Harbinger: “That’s what I like to hear. Now, after the battle I will not be with you. I have been given an undercover assignment. Half of them are little more than blaster fodder that can do everything my men can do, but only after they've done it a dozen times and had their instructions screamed at them by the sergeants. Toba: He's right. There was grenade practice with men from my personal company early today and some recruits, one of the latter dropped a grenade when preparing for the toss. Unfortunately, none of my men knew it was a dummy 'nade and half of them needed a change of pants due to that one recruit not learning how to hold a grenade properly. Speaking of, I'm glad my boys didn't beat him up for it. They shoved him in the dirt, but he's fine. Saurthen: The ones I oversaw with blaster disassembly and cleaning were pretty poor too, nearly ten of them put their blasters back together so poorly they needed to go back and do it again. And three of THOSE guys did the exact same thing wrong, again! Zoural: Marksmanship is alright, but it could be better. Also, it's safe to say we are not near enough to live fire drills yet. Many still need to learn proper trigger discipline, and to check fire when friendlies are nearby. Sareena: And sweeping, clearing, and comms operations, are piss poor at best. None of the guys I had knew how to use the proper code signals, and used their names instead, and there were about seventeen blue-on-blue incidents, today, from guys that decided it'd be better to shoot first and ask questions later. Also, when I took part in one exercise, it became apparent that some men need to be taught proper discipline by the provosts. One recruit thought it would be a fun time for a prank and thought grabbing my butt would be funny. I broke three of his fingers, but I don't think that lesson will take. Saul: Have you considered wearing a kama like most of the other female troopers? (Sareena flips Saul the bird, Saul only smirks as he looks at Asura.) Asura: And above all that, sentry duty last night was complete shit. Three of my captains had orders to take their companies out and return under cover of night, orders were to go for the positions the recruits were using. None of them were to kill, only incapacitate. Half of the dugouts and bunkers the recruits were using got taken out before the alert was sounded. Tanya: So that's what that was. (To Saul) You couldn't have run that by the rest of us first? Saul: It was a surprise test. And the recruits failed, miserably. Asura: Thankfully, the quartermasters made sure they had the practice rounds, so none of my men were killed, just sore. Most of the recruits were either knocked out or restrained without issue, no blasters needed. That being said, they need to be taught proper protocols for sentry duty. Low voices, keeping lights dimmed or turned off, concealed areas to smoke, if they do, we'll also need to have them empty their kit out in front of sergeants to ensure they're not smuggling liquor in their kit. Speaking of, I'm thinking mass inspections tonight, before lights out, everywhere, barracks, the dining hall, every warehouse and storage facility. There's no way they could've penetrated this far without being detected!" Operator: "No doubt about it. It's Imperial." Rasskin: "Raise the base shield and sound the alarm!." Shack: "This far behind our lines and with the fleet still at Deltooine we have no choice but to evacuate." Rasskin: "Evacuating a base this size, with this many people will take time. Not to mention the destoryers up there will tare our transports apart." Shack: "You let me and Captain Selco worry about those destoryers. When we leave the surface we'll do so all at once. Selco, return to your ship and aid in the evacuation." Capt. Selco: "Understood." (As Selco leaves, the group gathers around a hologram of the surrounding region on the central table.) Rasskin: "With the eastern flats occupied by our transports and covered by our shield it looks like they're going to land in the wastes to the west. I guess we know why they brought landing ships. I wonder just how long they've been planning this. Our infantry are just going to have to buy us time. Commander Narthra, that'll be your job. I know your units are already depleted and you're going to have a ton of rookies but you'll have to make due. There's three defensive outposts between them and our shield generator. Spread your guys out accordingly." Shack: "Commander Moxly, you and the militia will be our last line of defense so dig in around the Liberation." Moxly: "Yes sir." Shack: "Rogue Squadron, you will lead the attack wave on the Imperial's landing sight. We must contest their landing and slow down this assault as much as possible. Do as much damage as you can. You will take half our fighters and bombers and hit them hard. Saber Squadron, you'll be in reserve and on defense should we need it. Gold Squadron too. We'll still have to break through those destoryers when we leave and I want my best bomber piolts for that job. Everyone know the plan? Good. Now let's get it done." (Meanwhile on the Bridge of the ISD Darkstar.) Crewman: "We've arrived Commodore. No enemy forces currently in orbit. Target appears to be landed on the surface. Enemy base shield is already coming online." Star: "They're quicker than expected. Activate the interdictor. Launch fighters and landing craft and send word to Colonel Eiolig and Captain Dynamo. They are clear to land. Lt. Bey will take half of Spectre Squadron and lead the ground based Tie squadrons." [Yes I'm invoking a little bit of the Hoth battle here. Keep things from getting too crazy.]

(I am gonna scrap the whole meeting with the Commodore part instead and send Harbinger out to observe any movement from the base and maybe start picking off infantry targets if they dare leave the shield.)] (As soon as the Destroyers came out of hyperspace, a small Imperial Patrol Gunship drops out of the Darkstars hangar and breaks full speed towards the surface. The men inside all check each other’s equipment and jump packs much like paratroopers. Not a word being spoken. Once they breach the atmosphere the doors open. They troopers inside all bearing black and red armor can see the gunship rapidly approaching the landing site. The gunship barely slows down as the light in the compartment turns green. The men all jump activating their jump jets which slows their decent so they don’t turn into paste on the rocks. The gunship immediately turns and makes for the fleet. Once they touch down Harbinger gets to work finding his snipers nest.) Harbinger: “We set up here. Nothing permanent.” (Harbinger crawls on his chest into a small divot in the rock before unslinging his rifle and setting up its bipod and waiting.) Harbinger: “In position Commodore.”

The Scrap Fleet in the south was arguably the most Rebel fleet that could be. However, I believe having static fleets allowed the factions to build up their forces and launch these counter attacks. Recommendation: deal with CorSec and Mandalore first. Right now Mon Cala isn’t safe.

run though CORSEC and have a handful of ships cover the orbit using your heavy fleet to blitz though and swing your attention back to the north so you can challenge the fleet from mandalore. the black sun is probably more interested in it's foothold down south and will probably continue to produce a fleet strong enough to press further onto hoth. Hit and run could be a good call. i wish you would make more bakkuran destroyers. i feel like with their mobility they could better keep up with the blockade runners and give them more damage on those strafes. hope this is useful.

If I had to come up with a story for what happened on the ground on Korriban, it would be that the Rebels left the supply base as bait and the Haet-221 landed next to it to resupply it a perfectly good supply depot that is totally not a trap. Without warning form above using rocket launchers taken from the depot they hit the gunboat while it was landed. And I'm assuming that if it had any shields they were powered down. And then brew the depot in Corsec"s face.

Corsec's fleet is gone and for the time being, they are not a serious threat. Take the fight to the Black Sun and finally take out Mandalore and the connected worlds. With the planets they have left, the Korriban and lucrehulk fleets are probably the only serious forces the Black Sun can field. You can destroy half of their remainig military and economic strength with one aggressive campaign.
