THE CHANNEL:
This channel is about Kerbal Space Program and can consist of SSTO building tutorials and rocket building tutorials. Some times the videos contain bad language and adult humor but on a low level. In these videos no planet is safe as we can explore space together by landing on places like Duna and Jool and build large Duna colonies or orbital space stations. Also, Interplanetary SSTO builds seem to be a hot topic in the KSP community so I will be touching on those as well. I also build SSRT space craft. These are fun to build and easy to fly! Warships or space warships are one of my favorite things to make. Stock weapons can be very challenging and so when building them over time , you get to see the evolution of the designs. Same thing with the Warships. They get better and better with each new design.
Now , I know it's considered cheating but Kraken drives are a fun way to put things like warp drive ( like in Star Trek ) and or hyper drives ( like in Star Wars ) in your Kerbal space program game. These game mechanic loopholes are fun to figure out as you find out how they work and how to incorporate them into your star ship design.
Everything from Outposts on far away moons and Mining Stations around asteroids and comets, you name it I've ether built it or it's on my to do list! I still haven't really explored things like building SpaceX starship or any of the NASA spacecraft, and I think that's because it been done to many times. Recreations of spacecraft can be found almost everywhere on KZbin now and so making yet another one seem redundant. Only if the spacecraft recreation is of one that I loved as a kid will I even attempt to build it. Like the Apollo Moon Lander, or the whole Apollo rocket! Now that rocket was cool!
Many people have ask me if I'm ever going to wear my Mandalorian helmet ever again for my videos. And , yes. when the time is right, and I get a new wabcam, I will be dawning the helmet once more!

@@logandarklighter Gene Roddenberry conceived of Star Trek as a space western too. "Wagon train to the stars" was his phrase. DeForest Kelly and Leonard Nimoy were Western actors before they were in Star Trek. (I don't remember about Shatner.) And the producers were still thinking of it as a Space Western after Roddenberry was gone. In planning for Deep Space 9, they were nervous about setting it on a space station, so they tried adapting older Star Trek stories and realised that it was just going from a wagon train to a fronteir town.

Terrific craft! One consept for the engine-parts: Maybe they would work as heat sinks, so the engine doesn't go nuclear when it's used. The flaps' movement would be reversed, so flared when full-throttle to radiate heat more efficiently. Cheers!

Just as I gave up on the idea of imitating thrust vectoring nozzles you managed to do it better than I'd ever hope for. The design looks amazing, as always. Especially the wings which look NASA-ish, but still very original. Also, to add on the idea for the world you have thought up, why not set up the rules and basic of this world and let it out into the public? I am positive that many people who watch your channel would join in on such an endeavour and help you expand it?

Cool vid bud. If you seen light-year the movie. I imagine the gates being like that. So while one ship goes through the gate it takes a lot of energy and when they come back going that fast it will return a lot of the energy back like a regeneration brakes on cars. The point being cool.

Using a ‘Breeder Reactor’ could be the story reason why your nuclear fuel lasts so long. Generally speaking, this type of reactor can recycle its’ fuel, but not indefinitely. I really like how you generated a small amount of fuel to offset the large drain of the main engine.

in case no one else has mentioned it: the game Endless Sky is similar to what you're describing about starting off small and slowly building up to bigger and better ships - it is at the galactic scale, however. it's a really fun game and i highly recommend it!

gotcha here an explanation for the fuel recyclers, fusion makes energy from fusing (duh) but the recycler splits some of the fused atoms to make,e more fuel, thus letting you explain the long lasting fuel cheat

Gorgeous machine! *chef kiss* Oscar-B tanks are great for making curved pipes, aren't they? Why not make the gates just the anchored endpoints of artificial wormholes? That way, there's no arguing over the specifics of a name from some other series. There could be arguments over wormholes, of course, but you can just say, "they found a way to make it work." (Elephant in the room: _just_ artificial wormholes! XD ) I couldn't get partial fuel replenishment to work. It somehow filled it right up. I only tried once though. I used an engine identical to the main; maybe that was the problem. Now I'm wishing I could play KSP right now! I'm stuck without my desktop... but I'm probably buying a laptop tomorrow. I wonder if it'll be good enough...

What if instead of a hyper gate. There was a giant ship with hyper-drive capabilitys, and other smaller ships dock to it and pay a ticket to move to another solor system.

I would think, at least from a story telling perspective, a physical ship has the ability to cause more complications, and I feel a hyper-gate is overdone a bit in story's (even matt lowne did one in his story). Not sure if it would be easier on the editing. The kraken and your computer will not be happy about it. But it's your story tell it how you want.

Asides Stratzenblitz75 and Scott Manley, he's the most headcracker designer in KSP I've seen so far. Love the way he reshoots the same craft 900 times to find out it's efficiency sweetspot. I pretty much do the same, In that case I'm open for VAOS to do some colaboration since my designs are worth streaming compared to most players on youtube, but my computer is way crappy to stream them..

@Vaos I object to your title. "Awesome looking" doesn't even narrow it down to any particular dozens of your productions. Please do better in the future.😈 Seriously though, your story idea sounds wonderful! You have a long and excellent track record for machinima and building great sets and props for great stories. A lot of games and other stories use those same elements you described, so maybe it needs something distinctive... a twist. For example how SN or [ahem, that one other story you don't speak of anymore] would get strange plot twists because of whatever went wrong in the game. I remember it's way too much work, so pace yourself and make sure it's just for fun!

Just about died when you said the word “freelancer”. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freelancer_(video_game) I loved that game back in the day, but it got a little repetitive. No Man’s Sky I guess would be the modern equivalent?
