My initial thought was that "J", in fact, wrote what he intended to say. After I later binged watched four episodes of her on Craig's show, I am tending to, still, TO side with "J's" comment. In my humble opinion, your well meaning correction actually changed his intended thought.

The Awkward Pause is brilliant entertainment. It's amazing how many of his guests can 'get into it' so quickly. In this clip, I think Allison Brie was the best, 02:13, and she is so gorgeous.

I think Anna Kendrick elevated the awkward pause with the idea that you do not have to be silent for it to be awkward. The "don't" was superbly awkward. Edit : WHAT THE FUCK THE ENDING WAS CUT? HOW? WHY? By far best part of her awkward pause.
