The puck certainly crossed the goal line but there has to be definitive proof, they have to be able to SEE the actual puck to overturn a call. So yeah , seider with a hi iq okay there blocking the cameras and helping pull the skate and puck back out. That's bullshit when the goalie gets shoved in with the puck anyway.

Raymond caught Myers looking for another big hit and drew him away from the net front at the 1:00 mark, leaving Sprong open for the goal. Talk about taking a hit to make a play after he already had his head hit by Zadorov earlier and took a hard hit into the boards from Myers like 30 secs before the goal.

Rayzer is the toughest young forward in the league hands down. Easy to see why Yzerman picked him. When he's on the ice, he really carries the play and the opposing team always needs to know where he is or he'll make them pay for it. He's always involved and has top-notch energy and attitude.

First ever penalty shot OT winner in Red Wings history. Pretty special stuff from the boys so far this 2024 year! On a side note, why on earth does the sound guy not cut the music out when journey sings "south Detroit"??? Letting the crowd take it home is quintessential to the song being meaningful IMO. Just feels kinda wrong to keep the music on for that part.

As a huge sabres fan, absolutely am loving this Detroit team. Never has michigan been a better time for sports then now! U of M, lions, wings, and now just need the tigers to pull through! Alex Lyon has been everything I saw in Florida. What a mistake the panthers franchise made!

@@jchristner82 sad part is so many Sabres fans think Stevie Y messed up with all these contracts. Look up many of the Sabres fanbase streams and you. Will see it. I've told many fans that Stevie has sat down with Larkin personally to help with leadership development and during that losing streak when Kane first came. Addressed the team and they turned it around. Stevie brought back the empire culture of the wings. That's why Detroit is going to succeed for the next 6-8 years because the culture and passion is back! Look at the rangers with Drury, flyers with briere, Colorado with sakic. The common theme is management that were genuine leaders in their time and know what to bring in and do. Do not be surprised if dahlin in the next two years comes to Detroit. I don't have the force, but I do for see this potentially happening. Seider, dahlin, and Wallman would be terrifying.

Guys like Probert wouldn't even be in the league today. The game has changed just a bit over the last 30 years. I'll take depth scoring over wasting a roster spot on a scarecrow. That's the line you have to walk in today's NHL. Certain games you might need that guy, but no way is he suiting up every night.

This is a great hockey game. Teams are honestly afraid of Detroit. I actually think the Red Wings best position may be to end up in the 1st wild card, and end up playing the Rangers, and then likely New Jersey in the second round. We dont wanna see Florida or Boston! I see them getting to the Conference finals if theyre the 7 seed, just like the Lions did this year! Yeah Detroit got fucked with the Larkin/Perron shit vs Ottawa and lost like 4 games by 1 goal in a row. But that's just the thing, nobody can beat us by more than a goal (not counting empty netters) they're literally playing better than anyone in the NHL when at full strength and Alex Lyon in net. All it takes is the stars to align properly, anythings possible. There's no reason Detroit can't win a stanley cup in the next 3-4 years assuming some tragic injuries or bad luck don't happen, just like with any other franchise.
