For selfish reasons I would have loved to see Mr. Perry, just keep on singing with Journey because he is one of the Greatest Ever to do it. Keep in mind that he can’t sing in that range anymore. He’s in his 70s now. He is the best of all time but he can’t hit the high notes anymore. That’s normal, he’s older now

Hi Cathy. One of the top 3 male vocalists in the world!!!!!! I was in college in the early 1980s. Every journey concert was sold out show after sold out show. That album. Escape put them on top of the world at that time. See the live version of “send her my love”. Amazing performance

I was fortunate to see Journey live in '83 during the Frontiers Tour. I was about 20 rows back on the floor section, and all of a sudden, the crowd started leaning to one side, then the other side, and at one point, my feet were off the ground! It was a wild experience as a teenager in high-school.❤👍🙏

Don’t stop believing song relates to everyone. We all struggle for something better and we all have dreams and it isn’t easy to achieve. I have added to this song to my playlist when I need encouragement. The first time I heard this song as a teen in the 80’s, at that time I was depressed. It played on the radio and I just blasted it. I actually forgot about my depression. Thank u Journey and Steve Perry for singing that song. I still love it

Journey was the first band I fell in love at age 14. I saw them twice in concert. After Steve left the band I refused to listen to anything new by Journey and I also said I wouldn't go to another concert. I recently did see Journey in Denver. Good show but not the same without Steve. Will always love Steve's voice and beautiful talent! I'm okay with the old Journey!!!

A very honest conversation with one of music's great singer, songwriter, and performer. I loved the Greg Rollie, Steve Perry combination era of Journey. There was so much variety in sound and such a rich blend of styles. I think when Jonathan Cain came to Journey he brought great songwriting, but it became more formula driven for the radio.

This time stamp right here was the most realist shit I ever hear about singing in my life! Some people act like with singing technique that "either you got it or you don't" but it's not that simple for the exact reasons Steve Perry describes! I think he left out when you're sick in a certain way (i.e. congestion), it can make it sound like you never sung a day in your life because you have very little control of your vocal chords >_

Elton John. We knew who you were. No social media to tell us all your business. Whatever happened with you, I was still blessed to enjoy those pipes. Some would say that Brad Delp from Boston was as good if not better than Steve Perry but I agree that Perry is better. Delp had a fantastic range but Perry could sing anything from a ballad to hard rock. Plus, Perry had better staying power.

I was lucky enough to see the Love for Strange Medicine tour many moons ago but i will never forget it. It would be amazing to see Steve reunite with Journey and tour the Trial By Fire album to give fhat amazing piece of work the light it deserves.
