This Yoga Nidra is touching and has a lot to offer to find self-discovery within ourselves. I'll repeat it, however "let(ting) go of expectations" as Ayla's soothing voice says along the video. Yes, expectations can feel like chains. However, abundance of freedom is there for us, I should say within us. Thank you so much for this inspiring Yoga Nidra.

Ayla, this is one of my favourite yoga nidra's. I absolutely love your scripts. Have you thought of doing a Script book? Peace and love, b
@AylaNovaNidra Жыл бұрын
Actually! I have been thinking about it. I have had so requests. the only thing is I don’t use scripts for certain parts of the practice. So i just have to figure out how to get a transcript of my videos. Probably can KZbin how. haha. Thanks for believing in my work. I hope to have an ebook out eventually here.

Hey Ayla, I loved this session! I definitely felt a certain resonance when you invited me to experience both freedom and resistance. Freedom can, of course, feel exhilarating, but it can also induce a concomitant fear of uncertainty. Resistance can feel overwhelming while also engendering empowerment. I thought that the exploration of these tetradic sensations as your heart and min gathers them from your life experiences was amazing, and look forward to more 🖤

Okay, I have to ask... where have you acquired this impressive lexicon!? Your words are a mid-summer salad! All the colours and root veggies! :P Also, making the particular nidra was very intentional and I am grateful to know it was well received.

@@AylaNovaNidra I really love that you appreciate good diciton! And you know, I've long-admired your wonderous wordsmithery as well. For example, the way that you described your ribcage hugging your organs in your most recent offering left me lost for words. I'm always impressed by your anatomical acumen and your ability to conjure my curiosity in new directions through words alone. You're attuned to the use of metaphor to traverse effortlessly between the realms of physical and emotional sensations. Part of the appeal of listening to your nidras is definitely discovering and getting to drink from your own vast linguistic reservoir, which I assure you is at least as nutritious for me as the aforementioned word salad is for you. I could go on, but before I end up penning you a novel here, let me get to answering your question. I think I can attribute my love for words as a biproduct of my love of learning. At my core is just an insatiable desire to know and understand things. As words are the primary means by which we exchange thoughts with each other, my curiosity drove me at a young age to become an avid reader and writer of both fiction and non-fiction.🖤 Becoming an attorney and getting involved in politics also helped me to develop an appreciation for the power of words, as well as a sense of how to organize, assemble, and deploy them to great effect. For better and worse, that means that my writing tends to be more verbose and certainly less colloquial than my speech (I swear, I don't typically speak how I write :D). Hopefully this gives you at least bit of a sense of how my cumulative experiences built my vocabulary and is not merely a jumble of words. 🤭

Ive been noticing lately that my mind is opening more to the complete experience. When I listen to a nidra that I've experienced before, but its different or richer than before. Thank you for varied experiences that are full of deeper meaning with each pass. Your work has changed my life.
