Floor Jansen actually sang with Ayreon before she joined Nightwish. Her taller younger Sister, Irene, has been a backing and main singer on most of Ayreon's albums. This song comes from Arjen's other project band, 'Star One', and is his musical interpretation of the movie 'Stargate'. This was the last song of the set so everyone comes on stage to sing and thank the audience.

I've watched this concert many times and I always marvel that even with all those incredibly powerful voices on stage at the end you can still very clearly hear Marcela Bovio right over the top of everyone. And she is probably the smallest person on the stage.

Everyone came out on stage because that was the last song of the concert. The song is from another of Arjen Lucassen's project's, Star One. This 28 song show was a best of Ayreon and Star One.

Day that the world breaks down and Everybody Dies are both excellent Ayreon options, but there are plenty more where that came from. Also "Star One" is a sideproject with Ayreon that does SciFi/Movie songs, this song is one of them.

You would enjoy the album "The Human Equation". It's a theme album, so you need to listen all the way through. Might be a bit much for a reaction video, but if you're ever bored and want a great album to listen to... Quick Summary: A man is driving home from work when he passes his wife and his best friend exchanging an intimate kiss. He keeps driving in shock, and crashes into a tree, rendering him comatose. It's unknown if the shock just lowered his reaction times, or if he impulsively cranked the wheel into the tree. The story begins in his coma state. He finds all his emotions personified by a different voice in his head, his psyche is fractured into these different voices, all arguing with one another. A voice for his love, his rage, pride, guilt, etc (each voiced by a different singer, of course). It becomes clear to him that he needs to reconcile what all these voices are telling him, get them working on the same page again to rebuild a cohesive sense of self in order to awaken from the coma and take back control of his life. And so the voices guide him through a recounting of his life, from his abusive father, schoolyard bullies, his first love, his career etc. This was largely a departure from the "Forever" saga, save for a one line tie-in, so it stands out in Ayreon's discography, along with Transitus and The Theory of Everything, while the rest of his albums to date are all a continuation of the Forever storyline. So "The Human Equation" can be listened to as a single album on it's own. It covers a lot of talent, and by definition, the full range of emotions. It's an extremely diverse and eclectic album (probably the most diverse Ayreon release to date). Since every song is meant to convey a different emotion and circumstance, the musical style changes drastically from one track to the next. Cast: Role/Singer/Best Known For... Twas not I, but this is a great song. Not necessarily the performance I would have picked, I like the studio version a bit better (probably just out of familiarity, I didn't find any flaw in the performance here). I would have gone with "Age of Shadows", "Day 20" or "Dawn of a Million Souls"
