EVERYTHING THAT WENT WRONG ON MY BMW 435I and HOW MUCH IT COST TO FIX

I LOVE this car, I have a (2014 BMW 428i M-Sport -Coupe) in Estoril Blue.... I Have owned this car since July 2017 With 27k miles on It & i Have been Daily Driving This Car To Work Every SINGLE Day For the Past 4-1/2 Years, and To Tell you Guys The Truth I Love My 428i For One MAIN Reason There has Not Been any Mechanical Drivetrain Issues With My 4 Series & There was Never any Warning Lights On the Instrument Cluster throughout this whole time of owning the BMW & with that Said The car Has 150k Miles at this moment and is still daily driven to work (ALL Highway Miles ) Since i bought i have been doing Most of the Scheduled maintenance My Self .I Did Oil Changes Every 3k And Used 5w 30.(Liqui Molly Synthetic Oil) When The BMW Manufacture Recommends to change the oil every 7k which i think is to long for a turbo Vehicle ,It might be fine changing it every 7k untill you hit 50k miles. (My Opinion) ..spark plugs and Filters are changed every 30k & Since the first day of owning the Car It Has ALWAYS Been Fueled With Shell V-POWER ...so i say if you take care of a car Well It will Take care of your Wallet lol

My coolant line broke same exact way at 60k miles while i was out getting food. Came out and saw a huge puddle under the car and when i opened the hood coolant was EVERYWHERE. easy fix 👍🏼

Do they actually sell Silicone coolant hose kit for these? Especially for the expansion tank hose. Since original ones seems to keep on breaking easily

This is crazy I saw your video before buying 435i 2014 I bought the car from the dealership. Drove it for an hour. then I started smelling coolant I saw the smoke coming from the engine And yes, it was exactly the same spot. Plastic hose 😢

On my 2016 435 I had all of these same issues within 70k miles except for any headlight or taillight issues. I also had oil pan leak, the horn failed, and 2 valve cover replacements due to faulty replacement.

I hit a nasty pot hole as well blew a strut $4000+ at the dealer for 1 strut just a heads up. My tech recommended going through insurance and they ended up picking up the bill.

No vehicle manufacturer/brand are without their share of problems. New vehicles get recalled all the time. I always find it amusing that uninformed people are so quick to call BMWs "money pits" when there are vehicles still being produced by Chevy, Kia, and Hyundai. If someone is dumb enough to go well over 5,000 miles before changing the oil on their vehicle, especially one with a turbocharged engine...? That's stupidity and ignorance. Regardless of the manufacturer's recommended oil change intervals. Some people are better off relying on mass/public transit.

I had my water pump and thermostat replace and my shop went ahead and replace the expansion tank hose for free.

My Bluetooth went out I can make calls but no audio comes out for music! Any tips you can help

Might sound silly but try checking the volume on your phone. I've sometimes forgotten it all the way lowered so it seemed like music wasn't playing. Check your bluetooth settings and make sure you've allowed your car to access every audio source form your phone (phone calls, music, etc). Try disconnecting your bluetooth by going through your car and selecting AUX, then go back and select bluetooth again (that saved me so many times). Lastly I would try just removing the device and reconnecting to bluetooth all the way from the start. Let me know if any of these work!
