Glad you like it! This is called a Rav drum or Rav Vast! They are fantastic instruments, and I bet you would pick them up quickly. They are cheapest directly on their rav vast dot com site, but there are also many resellers. Feel free to use my discount REWILD if you order one eventually! I also offer lessons ;)

Love the runs in this piece. Like madhujithv said, they remind of a brook bubbling over rocks and then settling in pools before running on again. Very nice. On another note, my RAV has left Perm and is officially on its way!!!

You should have it in seven days or so, if customs does not slow it down! That is really exciting! I am interested to hear, they have not sent me the new rimmed Rav yet, so I have no personal experience with the alloy and brass!

@@ReWildYourSoul They told me it would be 20-25 days before it got here, and as far as I know it will have the same rim as normal. I've heard that they have some with brass rims now, but haven't seen one yet.

@@BDWoodruffmusic I think all the new ones have it :) I heard they actually sounds with it. Usually one it says processed through PCI 7 russia, it will be only a few more days :)The longest mine has ever taken is a month, but most, from shipment to door are 7-10! Excited for you!

I have no musical background but I've had a cheap tank drum for a few months (D minor) and found it really intuitive and enjoyable to play. Amazing how something so simple can create such an enchanting mood. Now I feel it's time to move on to something that offers a really nice sound. As much as I enjoy my good old "cooking pot" ;)

I would look at snare drum stands. They are pretty inexpensive and are adjustable. Also triangle camping seats work if you are sitting down low enough. :)
