I think it’s like a key to start - which Was also used on the Cathy’s 747 400 while I was there on the LHR which I am still present but with another ground handler I think the APU is inoperative on this Cargo 777 qater thats why engine Is being started by key .

I wonder how often such procedure is needed, given that valve operated by collapsible hand, and not with some kind of ordinary wrench with reference to valve position indicator...

@@ScienceFan-tech the starter valve of the GE-90 is pretty reliable, I think this was my second time doing a manual start procedure on this type of engine.
