B9 Robot Assembly

This video was made to assist the owner of this B9 Robot that I've rebuilt for him. It's intended to help him assemble the robot after it arrives home. The robot was built to be taken apart to make it easer to ship and make repairs or upgrades.
I'm making it public so other robot builders can see how this big guy is put together. Maybe it will help them with their builds or develop a better way with their robots.

Hi Dave, Utterly fantastic build. I was just wondering what ever happened to your other version of the arm that had the elbow function. Did it have some inherent problems?

Hi Mark. Thanks for the kind words. As far as this B9 not having elbows it the old story. Time and money constrains. also the elbows add a level of complication. I wanted to keep this build as simple as possible. It's going to be over 1000 miles away from me with a non-technological owner. I'll be rebuilding the arms on my personal robot next. I want them to be more reliable and maintenance free.

Hi Dave, thanks for the elbow info.. Now I was wondering if as far as you know, are all the parts still available from all of the other club members? I believe that as far as your tread section, you sold that last one you had. I would hate to have only 99 % of the critical components.

@@marklay5249 Hi brother. I'm not sure about the status of future parts from vendors. It's been a while since I did a check with them. You would have to contact them personally to find out. I know most do runs on parts every year or so. I fear that the 3D printing craze is killing a lot of the manufactured parts made by our vendors. I don't know where we are all going with this now. The two venders that still seem very active are Norm Stockwell and Craig Reinbrecht. Good luck.
