"Wonderbolt Academy" is one of my all time favorite RD episodes in not just Season 3 but the entire series! It was totally awesome that RD's journey to becoming a Wonderbolt started in this episode! Although I must admit that Lightning Dust became one of my least favorite secondary characters especially because of her reckless and irresponsible behavior, I mean she did make a good rival for RD I won't deny that but everything she did in this episode I just cannot condone. "Apple Family Reunion" is an interesting Applejack episode! It was so nice to see just exactly how big the Apple family really was, It was especially good to see Babs Seed again! And of course "Raise This Barn" is yet another one of my all time favorite season 3 songs!!! As for "Spike At Your Service" to this day many people in the fandom, Including myself consider it to be not just one of the worst season 3 episodes but one of the absolute worst episodes of the FIM series, And one of the many reasons why is because this episode basically supports the popular fan theory that Spike is a slave.

I always get jealous when I watch Apple Family Reunion. My family hold massive reunions every now and then, but they're always over in Canada or Mexico or Texas (my grandpa was 1 of about a dozen siblings, so we got cousins scattered all around North America and Mexico), while my Dad's side over here in the UK is so small it makes reunions kinda pointless.

I also come from a family that was very large and very close. There were 15 first cousins, including me and my sisters, and for most of my life all but one family lived in the same city. We’d get together all the time at my grandparents house, for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, or just because we wanted to see each other. Then I ALSO come from the other side of the family, my mom’s, that didn’t have many first cousins, but had a big extended family of second and third cousins that would get together for an annual family reunion. So I love the Apple Family Reunion episode, because it reminds me of both sides of my family. Sadly, my close knit family of cousins on my Dad’s side kind of fell apart after my grandparents died, but this episode makes me remember all the fun memories we made together
