Hey Joe, what’s your personal opinion on the Them version? With the A sharp note instead of the D note in the middle of the run?
@JK-rv3rd3 жыл бұрын
Thats an awesome rendition and its so good to see you replying to comments nearly 4 years after the video was published! Can this song be played like you show, but with a pick??? For those of us who are new to playing and can only use a pick and have zero finger picking ability. ie like me. Can it be played with a pick and if so, how? You're hitting top and bottom E at the same time which looks to be very hard to do with a pick.
@JoeMurphysGuitarlessons3 жыл бұрын
Hi JK, thanks for taking the time to comment. As you point out in your comment, playing this with a pick, would be extremely difficult, given that there are certain parts, that require you to play top and bottom strings at the same time. My advice would be to start using your fingers now, this will open up a whole new world of playing for you and won't take you long to start doing the basics. Also I would suggest that you check out my course "Blues guitar for complete beginners" this is a 7 part series that takes you through the basics. You can watch the first 2 parts here on KZbin, to see if you like it, if so, then you can watch the whole series over at my patreon page here www.patreon.com/joesguitarlessons along with many more videos for people wanting to develop blues playing. Here is link to part 1 kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZqXhad-fqiSmZY & part 2 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJCldauPp9J3jdE Hope that helps. good luck.
