Baby Seal Relaxes After His Rescue at Cape Cross

This seal rescue took place at Cape Cross, Namibia. Cape Cross is one of the worlds largest seal colonies, and can hold up to 400 000 Cape Fur Seals at the height of breeding season in December.
The plan was not actually to rescue seals on this day, but rather to just observe. This however changed when Naude and Katja noticed many entangled animals, and decided to help one that was close to the walkway leading through the colony.
Naude jumped over the fence and easily managed to restrain the young male. This poor animal had multiple loops of thin fishing line cutting into his skin around his neck, and also through his mouth. It took a little while, but Naude managed to cut all the lines and let the animal go again. Contrary to how the seals behave at Pelican Point, this group are quite calm, and some even walked closer while Naude was busy cutting the pup free.
Once the pup ran off, he didn't go straight for the ocean like at Pelican Point, but rather ran up to some of his friends and just stood around, as if nothing had ever happened. 🦭

After watching many of these rescue/saving seals videos, I just want to say: Naude seems to be one of those extra super humans lol. Or has higher IQ than average. While watching him run, catch, etc , viewers don't need to ever yell "Hurry! Faster!" Because he's quicker & smoother than our minds putting thoughts together 😅. He doesn't stumble & isn't a fumbley guy, just has good coordination. These guys are just awesome.

@@jessicaagosto3633 This is a good simple act, if you add this to your husbands acts, it doesnt add much, although for one to seek out doing such things will improve him, this alone does not make one that decent, not hating when being spited upon is a much better trait few have, still loving whilst being spited upon is too. Helping animals is close to the most easy thing that is deemed as good anyone can do, but people are in certain positions and even possibly a priveledged position to do so. Im sure youd do the same if you live near a beach and didnt need to work a reguliar average job. Im just stating this, but i dont know your life circumstances. Good luck with our Lord and master, May Christ save you. Love the subscribed music.
