The amount of pettiness an athletic department has to have to try and fire someone who's showing their own competency as a coach, and what equipment they have available, for free, is crazy. Hope you blow up, man.

thanks for responding to my comment about DAC - to hopefully intrigue you, though not to the degree of maximal intent of propulsion --> turnover --> yield weight as that of the olympic lifts, i found experimenting with his impulse and rebound stuff to imitate that of the turnover --> yielding portion of the olympic lifts, less so that of the propulsion --> yield. and this is the case for any all muscle groups you can find the angles and set up for. i believe that the versatility and application of the impulse and rebounds provides not only incredible novelty to training, but provides qualitative aspects and can be applied to a multitude of muscle groups cannot be understated. thanks for always being honest and your recent influx of training videos

Will, as a former college ball player and now a dad of 2 kids with a full-time job, how do you continue to find motivation to work out on a daily basis?

Can you do a day of eating video, and maybe talk about your lifestyle too? Tbh I've yet to come across a natty coach that is as strong and as athletic as you so curious what your diet/day looks like. Great vid per usual. I'm gonna try running HOSS project soon. God willing your house stuff goes smooth.

Hey Will, do you stretch or just do it as needed? Or do you have a specific routine you do? Also, what are your thoughts on movement culture now highlighting so much mobility and "these 5 stretches everyone should be doing" type content? Is it over exaggerated? I appreciate your content, and straight to the point delivery in your videos, it has helped me develop my strength training programming as a PT.

If you are sore from practicing jumping, should you push through the soreness or take a day off? What is more beneficial for your vertical? I used to be able to dunk, but I have lost that ability over the past year and a half.

Sounds like you’re doing too much. I’d back off on the volume/frequency of jumping and I think you’ll find performance will go back up

hi Will, have been struggling with my lower back for the past years. Recently I tried overcoming isos - zercher squats, zercher deadlifts, regular deadlift, and so on - they leave my back painless and help me focus on some assymetries that cause my pain. What do you think about a program consisting of sprinting, jumping, overcoming isos for the lower body and calisthenics for the upper body? Will the strength stimulus from overcoming isos be potent enough? Regards!

I recently just twinged my back too. Not gonna bother with imaging because the rehab process is the same anyway. How did you hurt your lower back? Are you trying to work back squats back into your lifting?

I was asking regarding both vertec and dunking performance. thanks for the answer :), another question: would you consider yourself a minmalist? your philosophy of training seems to be focused on simplicity and minimal effective dose. do you have a similar philosophy for the rest of life in general?

the reason ur stating vbt doesnt rly work for some athletes sound like a user error. been personally been using it for 2 years, but i try to achieve the best bar speed given a certain technique... bc ur right.. once you start changing things solely to achieve a faster bar speed, it completely defeats the point.

Got asked recently why I would never have any desire to be a college strength coach. The fact that someone with a family isn't able to market themselves as a strength coach outside of the university on a platform that literally doesn't interfere with anything the university does is incredible (and to your point, is free marketing and the fact that there are recruits that want to meet you on a visit says something IMO) is fucking bull shit. Being punished for being a good at your job is anti American.
