@jp38133 жыл бұрын
@@LaurenGlenn Perhaps the lightning would get weaker the longer it has to travel? Or maybe to attract less attention from the city. Probably not even enough time for one man to set that all up in time. As for the fuel, the FAQ section of the BTTF trilogy home media actually addresses that. The mechanic's logic is that long storage tends to require the tank to be emptied. While the time traveler's logic is that opening up the cave and closing it again, likely both using explosives, could result in a paradox if the car gets damaged or buried for good. The real head-scratcher in Part 3 is Doc not considering that stealing a train, crashing it, & stranding those passengers could have drastic repercussions to the timeline.

I choose to believe Marty gave himself eleven minutes to ensure he wouldn’t be around in his own past to stop past him from going to the past, but theoretically give himself enough time to warn and help Doc Similarly I believe Doc waited to read the letter until around the time he knew Marty would return to to ensure he could read and prepare but not so much he changed the future to any further extent

Yeah, apparently some producer guy hated the name Back To The Future and seriously tried to butt in and crowbar that crap name in there (I think it's a reference to a TV show Marty's dad is watching at one point), and they had to fight to keep the original name. Now that's some straight Hollywood B.S. right there
@xxxaragon4 жыл бұрын
and this isn't even some "in hindsight" thing. "Spaceman from Pluto" sounds like a 50's b-movie (which fits the idea of the dad watching it) but doesn't seem to fit the tone of the film at all. "Back to the Future" however, already has an interesting premise IN the title (because obviously one wouldn't normally be able to go BACK to the future).
