Back to the roots - a day in pind | ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਫੇਰੀ

Back in India after 3 years - and our first stop is of course, Khemuana.
Being in pind for a few days was a way to connect to my roots which sprouted from this village extending into Canada and the UK. Take a glance into the traditional Punjabi pind way of life.

So touched to see the saag preps...my grandma used to make like saag that..now my saag gets ready in an hour with cooker steam.. We grew up listening to your dad s songs...we used to gather, save collect money to buy 25 RS cassette back then. GALLAN GORIYA was what we used to present in our farewell. Lovely time and it flies away. Wish you good luck...stay rooted with your roots.

There is no land like panjab.. you cant find anyone with depression in villages of panjab.. you can sit in front of sun for whole day in panjab.. best warm sung light in winters.. culturally and environmentally the richest state in whole world
