It's great to hear Jason's story and see where he is now. I'm kinda bummed you didn't really ask him many questions about the show though, like the kiss with Jessica while he was dating Lauren at the fashion show, the prank he pulled on the girls poker night, when he went to prom with Alex when he was dating Jessica, the Jessica breakup, what he thought of the Jessica/Alex cabo fight, etc. Would have been nice to get some answers! So thankful he's in a great place now 🩷.

They don't tear Lauren down in Was it Real podcast. They are really just sharing their experience with Lauren. Everyone has different experiences, I can have a great friend that has been an amazing person in my life but someone else can look at my friend and say they were horrible to them. People are always different with who they encounter and what experience they have had with them. They also do take accountability for their actions there very aware of their mistakes and how young they were and being in the pressure of being of television.

Frankie thinks the show was called “Frankie: The Hills”, as Andrew the producer said 😂 He’s so upset about not being shown more on tv. Its hard at 23 just because of the partying aspect, everyone you know drinks. So happy for him.

Love the episode, but you guys should do a 2 part episode with your guests. One part including everything about their LB time, memories of the show, etc and a part 2 covering everything about their current life, family, and job. More how are they now, etc. He barerly talks about his time during the show (i know he said he doesn't remember most of it, but you guys could have help him elaborate more about certain moments, like with jessica, alex and obviously Lauren). It's not that we dont wanna hear about their journeys, life right know but we also wanna know about the specific time when they were in the show. Also can't wait for Jessica's appearance 🎙️

I know it's helpful to people who maybe don't feel internally like they think they should. Everyone has their struggle. I also did the annoying handwashing OCD thing when I was a kid...self medicated later down the line. I played a lot of sports...have always wondered if the pressure from that maybe contributed. But anyways...it does get better with work...and even just letting go a bit. With less work, in a way? Thanks for being open. You don't owe us that...but it's still nice.

22:37 where he talks about getting on medication and then not doing the work. THAT is powerful. So many people think that medication is going to fix all of the problems, and then we get dependent on the medication instead of trying to find the root cause of our issues and dealing with past trauma.

Somehow I just stumbled upon this. I had no idea that Steven and Kristin had a podcast….so cool! Now I have plenty to go back and listen to. It’s also pretty cool to see where Jason’s at in his life now.

Great podcast. Really enjoyed listening to Jason. Glad he got through his issues and has come out the other end. Kristin is getting quite a gang together down in Nashville.

I love what Kristen said about not wanting to be the character they had made her. I feel like that is a lesson we all could take from this. How we all get stereotyped in some way, so we have to decide if we're the character we want to be or not, and what actions we need to take if we're not ❤

Another great episode. Took me back to my youth because I am a fan of the show. I appreciate the honesty and truth from Jason, as a viewer I was unaware of his struggle - but I never hated him, I always loved the people on the show despite their differences and their actions. That’s what is unique in the show - you both want the best for each person, like with Kristin and Lauren. Thank you for this episode - probably the most open, personal and helpful episode. ❤

It really is amazing to see his transformation. Bc on LB and TH, to a certain extent, he really never seemed to have much to say. very shutdown and emotionally checked out. Obviously, we know why now. But, he really comes across so intelligent and thoughtful now. Totally different person. He truly is a miracle. I congratulate him!

Irritating that Stephen kept referring to himself instead of letting Jason talk. This is an episode many people were waiting for to hear from Jason’s point of view

22:29 That's actually really interesting because studies show SSRIs actually increase addictive behavior along with increasing alcohol cravings. Hearing him tell his story makes so much sense now.
