Dear Chad and JOLENNE. You’re videos mean so much to me! I’m happy to have you take us along with you to Australia. I just want you to know how much it means to my family as we will never afford the chance to go out of the states. I’m medically retired and my son is 36 disabled due to being hit by a car at age 6. The day before his 6th birthday. But we love to watch your show. Also you have given ne the motivation to follow my dream of learning to weld. My wife bought me a yes welder 205 for Christmas and I’ve wanted to learn my entire life. So I turned 54 this year just like you have. I’ve started to learn to weld now. And thanks to your good friend Jim I’ve even started to torch weld. I’ve learned to cut pretty good. But with watching your show it’s given me the experience to feel confident that I can learn this even at my age and with the tools I own. As we are financially limited. So thank you and your wife once again. I hope you enjoy your trip!

Chad & Jolene that was quite interesting especially the body man & painter he was quite the character in a nice way. He is really talented and it appears that he has a bit of the artist in him like you Chad except I believe you have quite a bit more artist in you! Jolene thank you once again for taking us along with you guys. I appreciate the fact that you spend the time to do the videos and the up loading and everything else that needs to be done to keep the channel going while traveling & probably trying to vacation at least somewhat!

Chad + Jolene, that body man deserves the Golden Beret Award for his artistry! WOW! As a former NYC resident (lived on East 94th St between 1st and 2nd Ave while working in Exhibition Design at the Metropolitan Museum of Art) the Chrysler Building is a standout favorite of mine! Great video content! Cheers!

Great Vid and just awesome having no annoying background music and the way Jolene films is incredible as it makes you as the viewer feel your right next to Brad & Jolene all the time as a buddy and that is where the magic happens. I own 3 x classic 80's vintage V8 cars as a complete DIY in-house backyard guy (engine building, bodywork, painting, interior etc) and always learning more by listening to craftsmen (& women) across the globe via YT sharing ideas to allow the car scene to flourish no matter what country you live in. Awesome down under tour especially visiting these gem tucked away workshops/bodyshops is so damn cool👍

those limestone close pins sculptures are cool, the 4 ft ones or he said 6ft ones that are out in the yard are usually put where they can be seen from the road and are positioned so as you drive/walk by them the holes appear closer to each other until there are full circles,,they are really cool to watch as you go by them

I told the cop a dog ran out in front of me and I swerved to miss it. The cop looked at me and said., right Bruce 😬😉😝😝😝. The cop was not impressed. Either was my dad……

Its worth noting that the HT Monaro he was talking about that got $120,000.00 at auction, are few and far between. Many were written off in accidents because they were such beasts for times and the road conditions. They had in many cases a Chev 350 with a two speed auto of a four speed stick shift. Although the spray painter said the one on the hoist had a 350 some had a 327 if I am not mistaken, but stand to be corrected. They get good money for them because there are so few of them still around.
@Aaron_HansonАй бұрын
The HK had the 327, the HT replaced the 327 with the 350. Also I believe that later in the run of HTs is when they began releasing them in the 253 & 308 version (Aussie built V8s) replacing the Chevy SBs.
@jamesgovett3225Ай бұрын
You could buy a basic HK Monaro with a 161 six with three on the tree also 186,186s sixes, 307 & 327 Chevs, HT series similar but 350 replaced 327 & Holden 253. & 308 V8’s were introduced later in series with 307 dropped the smaller engines were far more prevalent than the 350’s and Monaros had a myriad of transmission and engine combos on Monaro with column and floor shift in auto and manual with floor only shift on GTS models

i forgot to say why its great..im so pleased you n chad came here this year to show us backstreet buisnesses . im glad you never showed us big time hotrodders sheds in oz,,we only loke backyard uninterresting stuff...but you made his day and thats better than cabbage roll footage we saw here in oz. when is chad going to chop the truck pkease? only askin cause i think that might go down better that the footage you fed us today lolol. on the non business front i honestly hope ypu love oz hot spots.oz is the best country in the world,,ask harris she'll agree with anyone atm lol.
@ROBByJONEs-2Ай бұрын
im sorry for my rudeness. its simple you guys put out great videos daily.we were told chads choppin a truck in oz so i watch daily to see that. only to be shown a one person mechanical shop with couple of cars..thats not on same quality you put out daily n im dissapointed . thats why i keep on asking when the chop is staerting..with no reply that means i have to continue to watch daily n possibly watch other minor one guy shops that you think is entertaining,you must you posted it daily...for my rudeness i apologise..but not for the content.i love gud videos but not desperation ones hoping ppl will love seeing back sreet workshops.
@ROBByJONEs-2Ай бұрын
ill just wait over at Ian Rousells videos untill chads chop comes up n ill catchup then.chads and Ians work are equal hi quality but while yoy show one man sheds ill go wartch ian. no offence just poor choices dont make us watch on the edge of our seats sorry..ill be back after you show chads reason for being here.cheers.cul

Re: the fan shroud, cut some holes in it and rivet the top of some rubber flaps over them. When parked/stopped, the fan will suck the flaps against the holes so it'll still do its job, and then when the airflow from driving exceeds what the fan can pull, it'll blow through the holes with the flaps. I think the C5 corvettes had that flap setup? Seen a couple of cars with that sort of setup from the factory
@stewartsmith1947Ай бұрын
An over heating problem that one cannot solve is sometimes caused by plugged up water passages in the block . I have fixed several ! Best way is to take it apart but I have done a couple by removing the freeze plugs and use anything you have to get inside the plug holes and flush them out . They get really plugged up .
@krh007Ай бұрын
Had good results with CRC product called "Thermocure" for rusted/scaled engine block & head passages. Many over the years have used citric acid but you need to do at least 4-6 flushes with water to get it all out.

I am just curious on your comment of 34 chevy. How can you tell the difference between the 34 and 33 chevy? Maybe a strange question since I own a 33. Ironically mine is about the same color as well. Mine was my fathers that he started working on in the 60s It has not been finished but garage kept and never seen rain. Any information about the model is greatly appreciated as I start to learn and should be starting this project in the next year.
