Magnetic Eyeliner Comparison | Ardell, KISS, Eylure & Lash Liner System

The thing I don't like about magnetic eyeliner and lashes is that you *HAVE* to do a thick, bold eyeliner just to get them to (somewhat) work. If you're someone who doesn't have much lid space as it is, applying liner this think doesn't look the same as it does on those with more lid space. It looks okay... until you open your eyes lol. I'm someone who wears liner pretty thin across my lid because I don't have a lot of lisible lid space when my eyes are open lol. So this wouldn't work well for me anyways lol.

I've been wearing magnetic liners for almost a year now and I don't apply my liner nearly half as thick as she did. My liner is barely thicker than the band. The only thing about a thinner liner is you have to aim well when attaching the lashes but it is doable

I want to try a clear or skin colored magnetic liner.... that double black line is too much for me

Use your regular eyeliner first , then dab magnetic liner over top your regular liner where lash magnets lay ( attach) , works better, I trimmed my lashes into 2 pieces leaving a magnet at each end of my lash pieces , works well !

Why waste so much of the magnetic liner on wing? I saw another video where they used their regular liquid eyeliner, then applied the magnetic liner just where the eyelashes would be placed. Also, other reviewers said that repeated moving of the lashes can actually pull the magnetic liner off, so best to place the lash carefully the first time. Good goals at least. (I just saw that Brittany Watts says the same thing below around Feb 2020. My comment 7/2020)

What normally works better with all the magnetic liners is to line with regular liner first and then apply several coats of the magnetic liner in the areas where the lash will sit. I have the ardell system and lash liner system and I use this with both.

I feel like you should do your wing with your regular liquid liner and then just put the magnetic liner only on your lash line

Yeah I think she put too much magnetic liner above where the magnets go so it's pulling them up

Cut it down, then peel the magnet off and glue it back on to the lash?

Only drawback for me is how impossible the liner is to remove. Tried micellar water, oil based, oil, and my eye skin was literally peeling off after I finally got it off days later. Tips?

I use the Neutrogena oil free gentle eye makeup remover on a cotton pad and have no issues of it coming off!

Amy Kemp they are so pretty! I do think the magnets are stronger on the Lash Liner System lashes which makes them stick on easier.

I'm new to lashes and with regular ones and magnetic ones I can't get them to stick on the inner eye part. I reglue over and over and with the magnetic ones I reapply the liner and on my right eye I can't get the inner part to stick for the life of me. Does anyone have any tips? Please help🙏

Yes you can but from the lashes and liners I have the magnet strenth seems to vary on the lashes as well as the strength of the liners

YES! One of the inner magnets on the KISS lashes came off one day, 2nd time putting them on ever! It was so frustrating.

Have you tried putting the magnetic eyeliner onto the fake eyelash? It will work as well. You dont even need the magnets

what's the point of putting them on? not everyone is blessed with the amount of lashes you (still) have, some lose their lashes to medical conditions or treatments ANY lashes are an improvement for some people.

maybe don't use metal tweezers with magnetic lashes? things are a bit easier if the lashes aren't pulled towards your tools more than the liner lol
