Baker getting to the NFL has been a Cinderella story, but it's midnight and most of the time he's a game manager. He has a run game and weapons to throw to, and one of the top defenses. When Aaron Rodgers played hurt in 2018, Cobb and Allison missed multiple games. Other than Adams he was throwing to a bunch of rookies in Valdez-Scantling, St. Brown and Lazard. The defense was injury plagued, and when healthy they were subpar. Yet Skip didn't give Rodgers a break like he's giving Baker.

A game manager throws short passes to eat the clock and keep the game in control with multiple safe first downs. So stop with the game manager talk. Baker was a top 10 QB last year, that is great. If you watched the game against the Chiefs you would know that multiple drives sputtered because of dropped passes.

So while Baker probably deserves more benefit of the doubt, there’s a few QBs that Cleveland will likely gun for that CAN lift them up when things are going wrong

They did not lose because of him. Hard to critique Baker fairly when he is playing broken and truly giving almost all he has. Real Browns fans got to know this 1 thing. I never got to enjoy a winning browns team with my father ( why ) because he died cause it took that long waiting for it. So I say thank you Baker , you deserve a chance to keep getting better in a browns uniform. But don't get mad at 30 million , injuries or not , timing is everything and you have played your way out of 35 40 million a year up to this point. But hey there is still games to play so do you bro.
