Sarah, you always have the best recipes and your videos are so entertaining! When baking always use room temperature ingredients. Listen to Sarah! Another tip from Sarah, use half vanilla extract and half almond extract. Here it would be 1 1/2 t vanilla and 1 1/2 t almond. Now we can make the very best blueberry muffins! Thank you, Sarah!

I have also heard that if you let your batter rest for 15-20 minutes before baking, that helps with the rise. Have you experienced/experimented with this?

Yes, that does help some! Not a huge amount, but there's definitely a small difference. I've found heat to be the biggest difference, though!
