Brandy…….Girl…….MScN…..(Minor in Chem) oooohhhhhh do I hear ya……I have SOOO MANY ONE LINERS floating in my head when watching HB (I swear he is going to have a MI or TIA one day watching these, G-d FORBID! He has class though so I will give him that!!! To be able to maintain that perfectly straight face after the “I’m a professional Hairdresser so if anyone has any questions feel free to reach out and ask me!” Is completely priceless OR he is secretly sponsored by Botox LOL, either way, bless his heart! 😉 If I had a nickel for every one liner that I have floating in this (some days quite hollow) grey matter of mine that include one or more of the following as part of a response, however I do not bother as who would actually “get it” other than you and perhaps another dozen or so of us LOL….. Collision Theory Reversible Reaction Endo/Exothermic Reaction Kinetic reaction vs Thermodynamic etc etc etc…… you get the gist……………one night I was laughing SO HARD AND LOUD that I could not even attempt to explain to my hubby WHY I was laughing so hard (so MANY things are really best left using my INSIDE VOICE!) that I woke up to a lovely tinfoil hat on my bedside table the following morning (afternoon for me…..shift work …..ain’t it grand?!) with a note saying he would be picking up Duct Tape so HE could get a better sleep. LOL! Best part……he’s a cop so THAT note will be kept for future use……just in case of course. I do constantly remind him that digitalis, just a couple mg’s every day or so, won’t look suspicious at all at his age….so…ZIP IT. LOL. (I don’t look good in Orange so that wouldn’t really ever happen….. 😉. Thanks for the “side bar” girl……I needed THAT laugh especially tonight!!! Stay safe, healthy and keep laughing because the alternative sux. ❤🙏🏻U made my day. I owe ya.

me too, my first thought was it's logistically impossible because he would need to damage multiple people's hair to prove it works and I don't think he would be up to that. but then I thought, if there is someone that wants a pixie or something like that (and their hair isn't good enough for donation) he can do strands (fine sections 😅) of all kinds of mixtures and potions and in the end prove it's the developer, or find a new magic potion

I tried baking soda mixed with peroxide to lighten my hair...well, it worked. It did lighten my hair. However, that hair didn't stay attached to my head. When I took a shower to rinse it out, I felt a sliding sensation and a plop on my foot. It was all of my below shoulder length hair. When I jumped out of the shower, the front hair was an inch and a half, and the back was 4 to 5 inches. Suuuuper wispy mullet from hell. Turns out the hair broke off where I had applied sun-in a few months earlier (not even a lot). It was so bad that I couldn't stop laughing. Horrible hair style to grow back out. The worst!!

Oh. Oh you poor dear. I'm so sorry 😂😭 That's like so funny and tragic you have to laugh not to cry. Years ago my hair was a mint green colour and I tried all the tricks to get it out without bleaching. I did the vitamin C, dish soap, head and shoulders, etc. Funnily enough, the only thing that worked was pink shampoo. I had spent a month messing about trying to get the green out and I washed once with pink shampoo and my hair went silver. Bleach and colour wheel, people. Forget putting food items on your head.

I put an off brand of anti-dandruff shampoo on my hair, and left it on my hair for 30 minutes. I was trying to get the toner out of my hair. My hair turned green. I tried Vitamin C and shampoo, plus several other shampoos. Nothing was working. I didn't have any bleach. I finally put Head and Shoulders on my hair, and left it on for over an hour. I was busy wetting and scrubbing it the whole time. I rinsed it with hot water a long time. It seemed to still be soapy. I applied Aussie conditioner, and let that sit for about 10 minutes. Then I rinsed it with hot water again for a very long time. Finally I could see that the green was coming out. I washed it again a few days later with Head and Shoulders, but I only left it on for about 10 minutes. Most of the green is gone, and my hair lightened up a little bit also. I have some pink shampoo, I will try that next time I wash my hair.

Baking Soda is Sodium Bicarbonate ( pH 8.5 - Weak Alkali ) which decomposes into Carbon Dioxide Gas and Sodium Carbonate when added to an acidic Peroxide which raises the alkalinity to pH 11.5 ( Strong Alkali ) final pH of mixture is around 9 to 10. No conditioners, buffers, accelerators means poor results.

The red head turned out gorgeous! My hair was a rich auburn growing up and in my youth, and my granddaughter inherited a rich strawberry blonde hair. There's a special place in my heart for redheads! I'm now 70 and transitioning to gray. I go to a local beauty school, run by a gentleman who has done hair in Chicago, LA, and New York Fashion show runways. They have helped my further my journey into cronehood. The surprise I'm getting is as i also grow it out, my natural wavy curls have come back from my childhood. Shoulder length, wash, condition, curl creme, and Mr. Smith restore and a very light scrunch and ir dry, boom! I'm loving it.

I had been using a box dye light blonde for a decade, decided to go more light brown, closer to my natural color. Used the light brown box dye and the porous super blonde hair from ears down, turned BLUE! I mixed a small amount of baking soda with reg, non purple shampoo, scrubbed only the hair that was blue then immediately rinsed and deep conditioned. The blue came out! Of course my hair is not right yet but the blue is gone. I’m doing nothing for a while. It’s a little golden on the top but ashy blonde on the previously blue. I learned by lesson.

that's the kind of stylist that has a few happy coincidences review them but leave a wake of traumatized and ashamed people. I had my hair ruined a few to many times by people like that. once I finally got over my trauma and went for the first time in years and it went great, the next time I went to the same salon but had a different hairdresser, one like this lady, and they ruined my hair again. now I just cut my hair by myself or a family member, the odds of ruining it are so much less and if it happens at least it doesn't cost me my money 😊 however the last time I've been to a hairdresser is at least 15 years ago and only once did I mess up my hair. 'professionals' like her ruin the business for the good hairdressers.

I’m surprised an Australian hairdresser would embarrass herself using dubious techniques. She would have completed a 4 year apprenticeship.

I am so addicted to your videos! I am blond, but I DEFINITELY leave it to a professional (shout out to my wonderful stylist, Patsy) to keep it beautiful and done correctly. I cringe whenever I hear people say, "I'm going to bleach my hair myself..." NOOOooooo😱!!! On another note, I am a natural brunette with natural blonde eyebrows, so no, I wouldn't have EVER bleached them to match my hair...I actually keep my eyes closed until my stylist gets all the bleach and foils in. People, be careful out there, like Hair Buddha says, "It's not 'just hair'"!!!

The only time I have ever put baking soda on my hair, I did it on dry hair that was extremely greasy from working in fast food..then after letting it sit for a while I'd just shampoo it out. It got rid of the grease so easily and the smell too.

Who started all this madness with baking soda? His expression when she says she’s going to mix baking soda with head and shoulders, blew my mind. I laughed so hard i cried!

Back in 2016 I tried all of these concoctions to try and get my semi permanent color out. I remember thinking "baking soda is in toothpaste for whitening it should help whiten my hair". I don't know what my rationale for using vitamin C was though lol I learned my lesson right quick and know better now 😅
My scorpion was taken away from me 😢
