Hi Friends. Today we are doing a 25 minute ballet inspired workout. We will be using 6 beautiful moves to sculpt your body with both toning + cardio exercises. This is FULL BODY workout. Low impact (no jumping). No equipment. This one will have you feeling beautiful and are dripping in sweat at the same time :)

As a former dancer I really miss ballet and have found that working out the traditional way (in the gym) just doesn't do it for me. I'm so glad I found you!

Me too. I like these because they make me feel elegantly beautiful and confident. HIIT workouts make me feel strong and powerful but I don't want that feeling all the time.

@@akhilabinu8438you can build muscle in a targeted area but you can’t lose fat in a specific area, it’s dependant on the individual and their genetics

@@ananyawable5728 sweetie, you will not lose much weight if you do only sport, any kind of it. But you will build your muscles. For loosing weight try calories deficit. This the best way to lose weight. And if you do both ones (sport and calories deficit) you will get the firm, tight body very soon😘

I am 63 years old and have done ballet inspired workouts since I was 15 , I am a size 4 and have muscle tone to rival a teenagers, I love this workout and it really works.

@@isabelmolina1692 I think for most moves the bar is just for balance. You can hold on to a wall, a chair, the back of a couch, really anything to help you balance in each pose

A simple workout, but clearly effective. What was especially laudable is that you tried to connect to the many different levels of viewers watching this in that you recommended various scaling exercises for beginners. You're a natural teacher. Cool.

I like that your barre videos have no music, just clear, simple instructions & demonstrations. I also like that you include stretches after each section, and tell us to pause video if we need time stretch. Thank you

I really fell in love with this workout. I love it because 1-it makes my body stronger, every next workout is easier, 2-it makes me sweat even my gaunt face, 3 because I see how my body moves gracefully. Thank you Kel!

I used to love working out. Last time I had a real healthy habit of working out was 2016. I find ballet and ab ripperx p90x is my kind of thing. Thanks for sharing this! Total inspiration to make working out a habit again!

Omg I love this so much!! Please do more no-impact workouts like this. I have stickler syndrome which severely affects my joints, and makes impact very painful. Unfortunately the beautiful floor exercise you teach also did my elbows and wrists in through sheer strain with having such weak joints, but I still loved it and I feel great! Thank you!! ❤️

Im a young dancer,on my way to demi point I did this whole routine in my room and when i got up to tell my mom. My legs were so wobbly😂. And when i went down the stairs I thpught i was going to fall. This is my second day doing this routine and it is very helpful.

I'm overweight, not at all close to obese though, and I just want to tone up my muscles so I can look nice, because strangely, I'm just naturally strong but it doesn't really show.

I’m 23, never took ballet as a child but I did drill team. As dance workouts go, I like the Zumba and belly dance, but I wanted to try something new so I came across the ballet barre workout. Needless to say, this barre workout kicked my ass! And this is the fourth or fifth barre workout video that I’ve watched and completed.

I dance classical style ballet, but I had to take four breaks through this. Proves that I still have a while to go before I’m in shape! Day two: I only did the first rotation of the exercises because of how sore I am, but I feel great!

I used to be a ballet girl definitely. But I stopped because of a lot of reason. Have also gained a lot of weight since then. But I do love doing ballet and I am finally getting back into it, if just at home. Thanks! 😊

Hi I’m a complete novice to ballet and working out in general really (before lockdown I used to walk for exercise but now I am looking for ways to exercise at home) I tried this work out and I loved it so much that I’ve now done it 5 times! I feel so beautiful and graceful and my body is getting strong. I have even noticed that I am sitting up straighter in daily life. I must be strengthening muscles that I wasn’t really using before. I always follow this with the stretch-down video you recommend and it feels great. I feel great! The only move I struggle with in this video is the last one (the ‘beautiful’ one) where you balance on one arm and leg.. I just fall over! Probably my weight distribution is all wrong. Any tips welcome! Anyway thank you so much for this video you are such a sweet and kind person and have taught me and inspired me.

Hi my friend! Im so glad you enjoy this workout. Ballet fitness is great for improving posture and alignment. Mine has improved a lot too 🙂. For the last move, try either of these modifications for now. 1) take it a half speed and really focus on finding your balance and stability. 2) instead of keeping the bottom leg straight, let it bend a bit and keep the knee on the ground as you lift the hips. xoxo

Thank you, I’ve only just discovered you, I haven’t exercised in months, I’m overweight, and my lower back was stiff and sore and I just wanted some basic and effective exercises that do confined in our small flat without jumping around. This was perfect and so enjoyable and my back feels much happier now and I feel envigorated from the cardio. Love your production quality also, the music levels are perfect and not distracting so we can hear you clearly. Merry Xmas, can’t wait to try out more of your videos

My idiotic ass who hasn't danced a day in my life since I was 5: oh wow, dancing seems so fun and everyone has such a nice body... oh this looks perfect! (Instant regret because I'm an uncoordinated giraffe) It was awful, I did everything wrong, and I feel like crap. But I'm also stubborn and as I said an idiot so I'll definitely be doing (or at least attempting it) again 😅

It gets better! This was one of the first workouts I did (ever) and it killed me. But I promise that if you keep on doing some training (nothing extreme) it gets better and you can actually go through almost all the exercises :) It gets better. Though not easier. Not for me anyway lol

I'm a ballet dancer. I haven't danced for months because of an injury. I wanted to return dancing but I wasn't fully motivated. So I found this combination of a regular workout and ballet! It was fun!

This was hard! I've never really worked out before and don't have any arm strength so the side planks are super hard and I hold it yet. Maybe I'll get there one day. Also pretty sure I don't look as graceful as this lady in the video. But maybe I'll get there one day.

this was amaaaazing! i think i’m starting to get stronger because i was able to do all the moves on my first try all the way through and lasted the whole video with no breaks! especially that last move, i’m so surprised i was able to do it as well as i did!

I love your variance in motivational cueing and your quick (but very precise and specific) form cues that you throw in during the set. One of the things I struggle most with as a group fitness instructor is motivational cueing and being concise in cues, your video has given me some great, to the point cues that I can't wait to try in class!

I do ballet and I’m really out of shape and I mean I never have really been in shape but I wanna get a ballet body so I can feel more confident in my leotards and tights :) I can already see results and it’s only day 3 of me doing this ! Im going to try and do this workout until the end of the summer holidays which for me is the 10th September :) and so I can post videos on my new channel -which is the one I’m writing from - dance videos and not feel self conscious thank you for helping me achieve my goal ! This is one of the only workouts that has actually worked :)

I haven't done ballet since 8th grade. I'm turning 35 this year and I feel all of it. Sooo tired 20 min in and sweating bullets!

This is a great workout for variety and a busy work night. I can't go to class now due to time and I miss it so much. When I finally can go back, hopefully I won't have lost everything and at least have some strength left to work from.

I am a 16 year old dancer and have been dancing since i was 2 years old. With Corona obviously I haven't been in the studio and that's really hard for someone who's been dancing for so long as I imagine many others are feeling right now. After my season ended with the online classes and my summer intensives were cancelled it was difficult to find motivation to get back to my usual ballet routine (not just dancing the pas de deux from black swan around my kitchen every day haha). This really helped me get back into my conditioning and made me feel a lot better!!!!
