I think the problem is that Bungie is trying to use this exotic as a bandaid fix for the super. Each class needs at least two supers and this is more of a roaming super, and it's like this is trying to get it to be more of a damage super. This is how the super should be at base minimum. And ballador's should just be able to buff all shatter damage even in neutral game

kind of disagree its if we just focus on the super damage which after today is pretty darn good then players may get underwhelmed. But the whole package this exotic gives is top tier imo

@@DudditsII Unfortunately, Winter's Wrath is a super in name only. Even with these you can clear a handful of red bars and maybe one or two priority yellow bars from a lost sector. You could do that with a decent secondary weapon. Of the roaming supers across the game, it is by far the weakest and needs more love than Ballidorse should reasonably be expected to give.

@@ringomandingo1015 There isn't another way to use it. You freeze something, then you shatter it. The gameplay loop is not complicated. That said, I'm always happy to correct my numerous instances of user error. What is the optimal way to use Winter's Wrath?

@ Since the super is very simple, this info is going to seem obvious. Since you say that WW only gets a couple of red bars and some yellows, you might not be efficiently spreading freeze around. Whenever you use the heavy attack, drag your aim across the room to spread the projectiles. This way you can guarantee 6-8 freezes in one heavy. Your distance from the targets might also affect the tracking too. Just keep a good distance so your projectiles can spread and lock on properly. If there aren’t that many enemies, you can fire the projectiles but spam the light attack pulse to cancel the animation and only shoot one barrage. This saves super energy. Don’t forget that the rest of your kit can be used during WW too. You can throw grenades during super to freeze enemies so you don’t have to waste energy for the heavies. Iceflare Bolts are obvi what you can use but don’t count Frostpulse out too. Having Dynamo mods on your helmet can squeeze out super energy during WW so you can last longer. Lastly don’t forget that stasis supers are considered defensive supers. So if you’re capping an objective or getting a rez, you can bide your time just freezing the enemies and letting them sit there while you get your bearings. If the enemies are ultras who don’t stop moving when they are frozen, the stagger from the auto-shatter can buy you enough time to move Hope this helps but most likely you’re already using these techniques.

These are what I most look forward to this episode(something proper annoying(for me) about not calling the season, season, just thought ied mention). Especially seeing you popping in the lost sector. Being on stasis warlock in that room remindered me of using one of them fandangled high pressure water launchers(pistol) that when you pull the trigger the squirts(projectile) dripped. Numbers locked good, probly first place my warlock visits. On another note, for someone on my small numbered friends list. Your just on, I mean first thing in morning, last thing at night but which is really early morning, go and figure...! Well I have, (eye eye, 10)ADVANCED focus. Yeah I think that Ballidores needs to be able to buff all shatter damage while you have it equipped

@@DudditsII I'm only comparing because your bleak watcher grenade is SO easy to get back whether on prismatic or stasis. So, even though ones a grenade ability with other added abilities, and ones a shatter damage enhancer for the super, comparing them, apples to oranges I would still same rime coat is so much better because of ridiculously good crowd control and able to do big burst damage
