Resident of Dauphin Island for several years, and my self imposed rule was not keeping any redfish over 27 inches. Redfish on the half shell is my favorite way to cook them. Second favorite, chunks on top of jambalaya. Got to try your redfish tacos!

So when I heard you say you were adding cumin powder, I was certain you had ruined it. Then I remembered you said you were making tacos, so it made sense. haha. I'll have to give this a try. Normally just blacken my redfish, but tacos would be a good change of pace.

Great catch and cook video brother! Redfish are easy to come by up here in VA and NC in the fall and winter. Caught a 26 inch back in the fall down in Topsail, NC on the Blaze Orange Fish Gum. You are right! That size is delicious. I pretty much filleted and cooked it the same way, except I just smothered it with tarter sauce straight out of the pan LOL! This video made my mouth water. Keep them coming.

Bro, I dig your style of videos, production and editing. My bride is from the Baker, FL area and she is coming home. I am a native Southern California boy where the Mexican and Hispanic culture has helped me learn to cook with their flavors. I would love to meet up when our move is final to share the flavors with you. Make the most authentic, banging fish tacos ever. You just need to need to teach me the beach fishing. Love your stuff and look forward to maybe setting some hooks together sometime.
