Dino-Might! - Gruul Dinosaurs in Historic - Mtg Arena Deck Tech and Game Play

During our stream, a viewer requested a Dino-Brew, so we threw one together and had some success with it. But after streaming a few games, we felt like it was missing something. More big dumb dinosaurs!
I can tell you after playing this, people are just not ready to handle dinosaurs. This deck packs a punch! You are capable of swinging for well over 20 on turn 4 with the help of Marauding Raptor and Otepec Huntmaster reducing the cost of your dinosaurs. Once you have those in play you can focus on slamming down Ripjaw Raptor, Questing Beast, Regisaur Alpha, Shifting Ceratops, Carnage Tyrant, Quartzwood Crasher, or the big baddy, Ghalta Primal Hunger! To round it out, since we are on the all creature plan again, we have Umori backing us up as our companion.
So watch as we smash our way through our opponents.

Would probably change the Elf with the Grazer as it has several pros like early blocking (even flyer) and can resist a Marauding Raptor. Nevertheless it is ramp too... (and you could try Kaheera if you want as a companion). I play a paper version in pioneer with a true chance of turn 3 Ghalta. The key is 2nd turn Marauding Raptor and 3rd turn Raptor Hatchling. With 2 Green Mana to spend, Ghalta is out ;)

In match vs abzan land deck, you must not tap human to give haste to a raptor, raptor recive haste from Alpha dinosaur. I love your channel, you make interesting and good decks, also you rarely misplay

25:54 Minor misplay, the only Dino without haste is the Regisaur Alpha. Still wouldn't have attacked with it this turn. Just proves your point at the end that the Huntmaster doesn't really do much. Maybe Drover of the Mighty?

i would really enjoy if you used your master deckcrafting skills to build an enrage deck, with maurading raptor, and if it used the raptor hatchling, turn three the raptor would be a 6/3 and you would have a 3/3 dino to smash face with

This is how you Cheat "Ghalta" in on Turn 3... Raptor turn 2, turn 3 play hatchling, and than play Ghalta... Raptor than becomes an 8/3... Good Game

Hey dude, I think you need to start playing in ranked. In other videos you saw a lot of bad plays by your opponents, and this time there were some scoops without a good reason. I know these videos are supposed to be fun decks, but the quality of your opponents are harming the experience.

1) Events are completely acceptable for content. 2) He can play any way he sees fit - it's his content. 3) There are many other channels that play strictly in ranked.
