Easy Banana Bread Recipe
*Ingredients:*
- 6 bananas
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1 1/2 cups caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 3-4 tbsp Nutella
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
*Instructions:*
1. *Prepare the Wet Ingredients:*
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter and caster sugar using an electric beater for 3-4 minutes until combined.
- Peel and mash the bananas with a fork in a separate bowl.
- Add the mashed bananas to the butter and sugar mixture.
- Add the eggs to the same bowl and mix with the beater until everything is combined.
2. *Prepare the Dry Ingredients:*
- In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda.
3. *Combine Ingredients:*
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing well with the beater until there are no lumps.
- Stir in the vanilla essence.
- Fold in the walnuts using a spatula (do not use the beater for this step).
4. *Prepare the Baking Tray:*
- Grease your baking container with butter.
- Line it with butter paper or parchment paper, and grease the paper with butter to ensure it's non-stick.
5. *Bake the Bread:*
- Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared container.
- Spoon Nutella on top of the batter.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. *Cool and Serve:*
- Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool down.
- Slice and enjoy your banana bread!
