An 80's band who did push the bass to the forefront is Level 42. Mark King's thumb-slapping bass line in the song "There's Something About You" was a breath of fresh air in 1985 and still sounds great today.

Band-Maid is a hard rock band. Just ask Miku. Saiki sings "Seize the moment" and "winning or losing l'm playing..." Two points that are key to the philosophy of an 810 year old small pigeon. You might as well add "l ain't taking no for an answer." Sacramento loves Band-Maid.

More BAND-MAID please. But you'd better hurry. They have a DVD Release and much of their online content is being pulled. I suggest starting with 'Domination' LIVE 2020. And maybe ''Rin'ne' and Blooming' next.

Domination Live 2020 is on their official channel, so that one, at least, is not going to get pulled. They also have Real Existence from Zepp on their official channel, plus one or two others. Other clips are being put back slowly, but they just aren't showing up in searches yet.
