Welcome to Band-Maid! The best hard rock band I have heard in my 58 years on this planet. They don't stick to any one genre and often mix genres in songs. They are extremely diverse and have an extensive back catalogue featuring Punk, Pop-Punk, Hard-Rock, Classic Rock, Metal, Prog, Blues, Jazz, Groove, Rap etc. From face melting 220 bpm punk-prog to ballads, instrumentals to acoustics they do it all. In my opinion, BAND-MAID is a group of five of the best female musicians in modern rock music. It was founded by Miku Kobato, the rhythm guitarist and lyricist of red rose. You might forget the fella that recommended it but I call him "The 6th Maid". He's a Champ. Check em out live - that's where they are at their best. "Hate" official live is the go to clip but after that, pick anything .. you won't be disappointed. 120 plus songs in their catalogue and you will find it hard to find an ordinary one. Greatest Hard Rock Band on the planet ... by far. IF you do "Hate", the subtitles are a must ... you'll see what I mean. New Subby from Aust.

They are a top quality band- each and every member. There is plenty in their music for most rock fans, plus the quirky and unexpended things they add especially during live videos. These five ladies are arguably the best live rock band on the planet and certainly the most likeable. Their massive catalogue of outrageously good songs is quite impressive.. Jess, That scenes for "The Non-Fiction Days" were set on a windswept beach in Japan in the Winter. It was brutally cold. While the Maids wore their skimpy maid costumes for the video shoots, there are behind the scenes photos of them huddled up in full-length insulated coats between takes. These five petite young Japanese females are "TROOPERS". They will bear whatever burden and do whatever it takes to shoot their officlal music videos and get their music out. Two music videos that come to mind are "Warning" and "Influencer".

Here's some opinions and facts: •Bass solos are more likely to happen than not •Guitar solos are shorter, far shorter, than you would like them to be •Unless you are superhuman you will not/cannot be able to pick up everything they're doing to make that song great on the first listen. •Genre? Genres?? We don' need no stinkin" genre! •Youl like a rocking crazy fast tune? Well how about it done as a slower acoustic version? •April Fools Day 2019 As a joke they record a redo of Secret my Lips with traditional instruments and with lyrics in a Kyoto dialect. MV is stunningly beautiful. •The linchpin member of the band gets the least notice/praise. The Mighty Miku Kobato-founder/lead singer steps back to make way for a new more rock vocalist. They want her to hold a guitar so she does and learns to play on the fly, performing all the while she's learning. So the person who willed the band into existence, who is the primary lyricist, the only member who sings and plays an instrument most of the time gets the least comments from reactors. Oh yeah she has her own signature model guitar from Zematis. •There is no "I" in BANDMAID. Well ok there is one "I" but my point is the songs are written by BandMaid. Not just Kanami Tono. The highly innovative bass and drum lines are created by Akane and MISA. There are no George songs and John&Paul songs. There are only BandMaid songs. •10 plus years with the same line up. Think about that. •More hooks, riffs and motifs in many songs than most bands have on an album. Check it out. No hyperbole. •Use of puns, wordplay using homophones between Japanese and English are not the exception. They are typical of Kobato's lyrics. •Despite the fact that their LIVE videos are superior to the official studio MV"s the latter are excellent. Funny, graphic, innovative and stunningly beautiful works of art describe what you get with BandMaid's official MV's. •As close to the Beatles in terms of unique persona of the members as any group since the Monkees. MISA is quiet and drinks. Akane is happy and eats, Miku is klutzy and CUTE, Kanami is an airhead who crushes on Saiki and Saiki was the Ice Queen. But the Ice Queen has thoroughly thawed. See Yokohama's Endless Story! Their image is carefully crafted or spontaneous or both. •Many songs have catch phrases or singalong sections to engage the audience. Many songs are in English and Japanese.Most songs are full of joy as well. •They're having a ball. They enjoy performing. They enjoy the fans. Comparing Band Maid with Baby Metal is always somewhat weired 😅 okay, they are Japanese, their initials are BM and there are guitars 😂 that's all. This song is quite old but a good start. I wonder that rogerchance did not request "Hate?" again. That's what he does nowadays. But i am very happy with it 😅 Band Maid is intelligently composed Rock, sometimes hard, sometimes mixed with multiple other influences. These ladies are masters at their instruments: Kanami (composer and lead guitar), Akane (drums) and Misa (bass). Then there is lead vocalist Saiki who is perfect for the Band Maid sound and Miku Kobato (rythm guitar, pure energy, most lyrics, fantastic backing vocals and harmonies). And if you want to hear some ballads then maybe About Us (MV) and Daydreaming (MV) are good picks. But don't miss some of their instrumentals like From now on (MV) and Onset (Live). This is the point, Babymetal don't play instruments thats why they are not a real band, they are singing dancing group and thats it. Band Maid is a real band where is all members the highest level complete musicians! This amazing band is the best hard rock band in the world for the last 10 years!!! Thanks for your reaction.
