The two bands really love and respect each other. This song came out if them collaborating by doing a concert tigether in Tokyo. And I was lucky enough to be there. It was amazing. They closed the show with this song, and I was in tears by the end. It was obvious from the hugs and high fives how they felt about each other. The face-offs were celebrations of each other's talents more than any kind of duel or competition. The Warning just released a video of their time with Band Maid. I hope you'll react to it. Band-Maid and The Warning were fans of the other before they met in person. You should see them in the same room working on the song. You could see the respect and affection they had for each other. The two bassists, Misa the barefoot assassin, and Ale the Thunder Goddess, became very close. Misa’s outro bass is in tribute to Ale’s outro bass in TW’s song Survive. They first performed this song live in Japan. TW has invited B-M to perform with them in Mexico next time, and will teach them to sing in Spanish. You may get your wish Biss, the drummers Pau and Akane also became close.

Miku and Kanami were the leads for creating the song. There are currently 3 videos on YT and the best interview is a Billboard (Japan) with both bands discussing the entire effort. Dani on the PRS video said next is Band Maid in Mexico singing in Spanish. History - Mexico was the 2nd foreign country Band Maid performed and they have a fan base there. A factor in the making of this is that both bands are not corporate controlled. AKA they can make their own decisions.

Ale and Misa's bass in this track is so filthy. I love how they both sound. They are tuned a bit differently with Ale having a bit more distortion and gain followed by Misa using her slap technique is perfect together.

I think this was great for both bands. It's really hard to come up with a song (arrangement) with this instrumentation where it doesn't sound like a jumbled mess. But they did it - they made a simple song, and traded off a bit. (I agree that I'd like to have seen more of that.) Mostly I think it was just a great and a fun experience for both bands. Two completely separate cultures where nobody speaks each other's language but they have a wonderful experience, which was very nicely represented in the new VLOG on the Warning's channel. (I highly recommend.)

From Japan I'd like to introduce what was accomplished with this song. ① Two bands on opposite sides of the globe met and wrote a song together. ② The two bands got to know each other better and developed a friendship. ③ It's not the best original song by either band, but it's a fun, energetic song that makes the most of each band's individuality. ④ Fans of both bands got to know each other and some became new fans. ⑤ The friendship between the two bands will lead to the next song, The Warning in Mexico. The eight members of the two bands have been seriously working on making music and growing for 11 years. They are serious, humble, and beautiful women. There may have been things that couldn't be done, but what was accomplished is more important. The two bands continue to gain fans all over the world.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う 💛。 I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Roppongi, Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of martial arts between two fighters respecting each other. 😄)

In an interview for PRS Guitars with both Kanami and Dany, Kanami said they would love to collaborate on more songs (plural!). Dany said when they come to Mexico maybe they could do something together in Spanish. That's not the top of Dany's range, so she was fairly comfortable there. It was written to push the envelope, more for Band Maid (thank you Kanami). This was a collaboration, not a versus song. Misa (yes, the barefoot ninja) cried because she couldn't spend more time with Ale. All of the members were so happy to be together. Watch The Warning's VLOG to get behind the scenes of this. That will make you cry. These were sisters from across the Pacific coming together. TWA and Maidiacs finally get a chance to become one under a great song. Here's hoping for a world tour of both bands together!

Kobato: KANAMI first came up with the foundation of the song. We started off by having the members of The Warning listen to it. KANAMI: We wanted to venture out and make a song that would bring out new aspects of each band for this single, and that’s how “SHOW THEM” came about. Everyone in The Warning made changes to the demo I made. Then we made new suggestions in response to that, and repeated the process over and over again until the song was finished. Daniela: When we heard the demo that KANAMI made, we were very surprised because it was completely different from the direction of our usual music. But we soon began to enjoy figuring out how to mix our own colors into it. The lyrics are credited to Miku Kobato and The Warning.

You'll find a video of them doing Enter the Sandman when the drummer was 9, the bass player looking a bit bored, and big sis tearing up the guitar. Band-Maid and DPA/TW met at Aftershock a couple of years ago... they were already fans of each other and both playing sets there gave them the chance to meet and get some pictures... idk when the subject of a collab came up between them but DPA/TW were already wanting to go to Japan... this was their first time there doing 4 or 5 shows, i think... at least one show was co-headliners with Band-Maid... i think that was also the performance where Show Them was debuted with both bands playing together on stage very much like in this OMV... Really nice job and I agree with EVERYTHING you said. You are the first reactor I've watched do this that had the balls to say which singer was slightly better...for this song. In my reaction I admit I got a bit hesitant to say I liked Dany a little better singing on this one. It doesn't mean I didn't like Saiki's voice on it. I just felt it sat more comfortably in Dany's. You may want to find the bootlegged live version of this song or wait for an official live version. The live version is a bit longer and both drummers got a bigger part in the song. It’s my understanding that both bands have been mutual fans of each other for a while and they did briefly meet during the Aftershock Festival in 2022. I don’t understand everyone thinking BM should do a collaboration in Spanish (Dany said it as a joke), TW didn’t sing in Japanese. If they collab again either keep it in English or let both bands sing a verse in their native languages and do a chorus in English to mix it up…you’d cover a huge portion of the world’s music fans with that formula between Spanish, Japanese and English.

I still stand vereintly by my statement on other reactions, that this is the Voltron of collaborations. 8 musical judgments coming together to form the ultimate supergroup. That said, I do see where we could stand to see Pau (Paulina) flex more on the drums. Plus a Miku/Pau vocal feature would be cool as well. But to give the fans everything they want, the song would be 20 minutes long. (Slight exaggeration, possibly 5 to 6 minutes.) But neither of these bands strike me as the type to overindulge their egos. Plus there's talks of another team up coming when Band-Maid is next in Mexico, so they'll need to keep some things up their sleeves for later.

I actually think this song was done perfectly, and at just the right length for radio play. There will be a place in their future collaborations for the other singers to sing. I just think that for this song, the way the 2 lead singer voices were matched up so well in that high range they are singing in (in my non-musician wording, lol) that it made more sense to stick with that the whole way through. I think anything else beyond the quick little "oooowwwooo" that we got towards the beginning from the BM guitarist would have disrupted the flow of the song. That's just my humble opinion, though.
