Kanami and Dany did an interview on the PRS channel. Both play similar guitars in the same color. They said that future collab songs are in the works. Dany wants BM to come to Mexico and work on a song more focused on TW in Spanish.

@@jlcsr9163 Actually Kanami played a PRS similar to but not the exact same model as Dany. If you look at them side by side in the PRS interview, Kanami’s is actually slightly larger. However, since that interview she ordered and received a private stock PRS which she used in the collaboration.

This story actually started in 2022 when they met up for the first time and were fan girling over each other at the aftershock festival in California, there was talk between them then of getting together, then early this year The Warning booked a mini tour in Japan (3/4 concerts) and both their marketing dept put it up as BM welcomes TW for their first tour of Japan, and then "surprise surprise" they showed up in Japan 2 weeks early, my spidey senses were tingling like crazy

Saw those shorts already, those were a nice TEASE. LOL @ your video chapter tag "Reaction(s)", once isn't enough😂. Heard Kanami wrote it. Writing for 2 bands , and challenging everyone, great job. Apparently the key is higher than Saiki and Dany usually sing in. We've only got the 30 or so sec teaser clips officially released for the live version so far, hope they release the full version soon. You said "I wish this would be on an album", thought you knew this will be on the upcoming Band maid album. Kanami and Dany did an interview, on PRS Guitars Japan, and said that they should get together again in Mexico. Seen a bunch of reactions to this, you and Jesse had my favorite t-shirts , LOL (Jesse had FTF Thrones)

The MV is like both bands' career trajectory. They start out street level and go up to the Heli-pad, getting ready to Fly High. They lyrical content explain as much as well. I believe Miku-chan wrote the lyrics and the ladies of The Warning polished it. The music is composed by Kanami-san with The Warning in mind so specifically catered in that fashion.

How Kanami manages to exceed impossible expectations time and time again is just astounding. Genuinely, her ability to perfect so many different subgenres and sounds in rock, almost always on the first try no less, is unparalleled certainly in this generation, but all-time one of the absolute greatest composers. And it's one thing to create something new, that deserves all the credit it gets, but to take something, a genre or a sound that countless others have attempted, and to just do it better than everybody else who spent their entire careers doing this one sound, dominates it, just nails it, and then goes and does it again to some other subgenre or sound... It's just amazing.

It's a good Band Maid song, and not their best. It's not The Warning at all. I enjoy it because it's two groups who love each other, get to play together. There is literally zero influence in the sound from The Warning in this, but that's ok. I love both bands so I'm grooving to this, but it's easy to recognize who wrote this.

@@davejohnston2197 I mean I noticed the tones and the similarity in song energy and flow, along with vocal structure of the verses and that sound and influence in what Kanami had in mind when composing this song for this collab was pretty clear to me. And that’s the beautiful thing; even if you can’t pickup on those little nuances this song is so incredibly well done it is still extremely enjoyable all the same.

@@Parker-- it's not a The Warning song in any way. It's a Band Maid song. I didn't have issues with it being what it is. It's just not a ok/good Band Maid song. The Warning are secondary to all of this, literally.

I’m glad I’m capable because this song is excellent, but I was a big fan of Band-Maid and The Warning well before hearing this and like Kanami, but not nearly to her degree, the nuances that escape your grasp; that’s probably the difference if not just grasp or lacking a preset mindset going into the song.

It is a must for you to read the Billboard interview with the bands on the song writing and making of the video. There are 2 who are the primaries on the creating of the music and lyrics. What hit me, listening to the video was the superb arrangement, dynamite performance. On the PRS video with Kanami and Dani, Dani said next should be Maid Band in Mexico singing in Spanish!!!!

The biggest discovery in this collab - while touring Japan Dani discovered Spicy Ramen, Po! Now, the Spanish version, por favor, Pou! Arigatou, Po! 🦍🍌 FYI, in a PRS Japan interview with Dani and Kanami, they eluded to a CDMX collab (2025?) with The Warning taking the lead. Dani challenged Kanami that they should write and sing a Spanish lyric'd song, Po! 🇲🇽 That's why the unresolved Misa outro? Side note: all 8 sang the "wohs," Po! (Billboard Japan interview). PS, Kanami always giving a challenge to her mates, i.e., Saiki to stretch her upper vocal register.

Between the six small solos, I gotta say that Ale's was my fav, the sound was nice. Btw, I’m surprised no one has noticed that each part is played by the whole band. When Ale was playing, it was Pau and Dany as well. When Dany got focused you can hear Ale and Pau instruments alone as well. So is not just a small part, they are focusing on the video on a single person but is the whole band alone.

Yeah TW was there 2 weeks before the concert aaaannnnnnnnddd now we know why. It had more of a Band-Maid sound to me. But they wrote it for The Warning and you can distinctly pick out each member. But being The Warning went more the sound that Muse uses, this brought them back to just base and raw rock music.

Hi "Sharks" 😉, it's a beautiful song, not a great song. This is a BANDMAID song and if you listen closely I notice that BM probably made her solo parts stand out a bit more. Fair enough. There is a ton to display here and I get the position that DM was in to write this for TW and express all the talents. To me, they did awesome. I can't wait to hear what The Warning comes up with for Band-Maid.
