viola and violin are different :) i believe it was violin but i could be wrong, i play viola and the difference are mainly the notes on the sheet, but violins don't have a C string although they have an E string, but violas have a C string just they don't have an E string.

Band is where the lit and OUT of control kids are at (cough cough pick band), orchestra is 99% Asian, and the kids in chorus were pressured by their parents to do something music related but have literally no talent so decided to do chorus, and in my school, we have chamber choir. That's where the actual good singers go. (But chamber choir is only a club, so they don't get to be in the concerts)

At my school, I get a good view of the band kids because my friend is one, and after school you can hear them miles away making a bunch of loud sounds, but they're pretty tame. I mean, you hear them making actual music sound, so it's all good. Then if you get too close to the class, a kid comes out and asks you to shake their hand. Chorus is actually really unknown, because there is probably around 10-5 people in that class. Then I have no clue what happens in orchestra.

In my school, the band and choir kids are all very friendly and nice towards each other, a lot of them even do both. The orchestra and choir kids have a bit of a rivalry, but all in all, their pretty friendly as well, as some of them also do both. But band and orchestra? Jesus Christ they hate each other so much that I once saw an orchestra kid throw someone's reed on the floor.
