Russia, China, and the crypto market are all faced the same problem in 2022. Failure to address properly would cause massive instability in the two countries and the complete devaluation of multiple coins within the cryptosphere. That problem is bank runs, an issue that financial sectors have dealt with for centuries. This video explains how each of their problems is unique and what each is doing to try to solve them.

Good analysis. Indeed, the lessons why financial regulations were first put in place have been ignored by those who have lost lots of money during this "crisis". History has a bad habit of repeating itself. Governments and banks do serve their purpose after all. Whilst I am ambivalent about people losing their life savings taking risks they do not understand, I am intrigued by the possibility of contagion to financial stability for the rest of us, and ponder whether and what regulations are indeed necessary to stop negative impacts to the rest of us.

The terra thing was worse than it seems based on your explanation. In your video, you explain that the way stablecoins work is that you give the stablecoin operator some $usd, and the operator gives you $stable that is equivalent to the USD in exchange. For example, you give tether $1000 usd, and they give you 1000 usdt(tether's stablecoin). At least in theory, tether has its money in things that it expects are liquid and safe that it can get back relatively quickly if needed. However, terra did not work like this. It is what is called a seigniorage stablecoin. I was going to do a writeup about terra, but I'm not super great at explaining things and if you are interested I recommend you search for one of the many youtube videos on the topic. but to make things short, they had a mechanism where instead of exchanging 1usd for 1ust(terra's stablecoin) you could exchange luna(the terra network coin that is not a stablecoin) for UST and vice versa.

I kind of feel great for crypto falling. I mean, if you look at it, then it is nothing. They take money in return for 'guarantees' (the crypto coins) which are nothing. Then they trade nothing for another nothing hoping to get something. And when you want to take your money back, you may get... nothing (or at least less). This is the problem with currency descentralisation. It counts on good conditions, but since when are good conditions guaranteed? They aren't, so are the moments when you may want to take your cash back. Edit: Even though I'm against the war in Ukraine, I see that only Putin has taken the good way to solve such problems. I wonder why he didn't just make a new kind of roubles to replace those that were (and are still) stuck outside of Russia. That way the roubles outside Russia would lose all of their value to Russia instantly. Though, I don't know all the rules, so I can't be 100% sure on this.

Pre-pandemic, I couldn't get a small check cashed at a bank because they didn't have it. Apparently the 20% they are required to have on hand? Can be "down the street" and "shared" as the same cash for all of the banks involved. In ither words, if 5 banks need x dollars each, the only have that number between them, not for each but for the total. So the reality is that 20% is divided into five if they all have the same run. In other words, it's all digital. The cash isn't on hand anymore.

Predicting< a reversal of a trend is risky, and even worse, I believe there is more to this market than we understand currently. When people are losing, they don't aim to increase their average, but that can only change if you have a personal trade guide and signal provider like that of Anika Hobson which has made me almost 9.5 on a 2 btc Trade capital over the last 3 months. Make the wise decision. Markets fluctuate in cycles that can last anywhere from a few days to several years. In the case of B -TC, it's difficult to make a bullish case simply from looking at the charts.

It also had to do with people staying home more at the beginning of the pandemic, thus needing more toilet paper, and most commercial type rolls (for offices, gas stations, etc.) not fitting home bathroom paper holders. The manufacturers had to ramp up home paper production, and that took a while.

Most probable the Eurozone will collapse first. Euro's dropped below 1:1 against USD, and there is no way for them to counter inflation without starting another debt crisis. I won't worry too much about the Russian and Chinese economies now though, they are more or less the only 2 large economies still running trade surpluses. You know time is running short when traditional export economies like Japan and Germany are running trade deficits.

Since the covid 19 pandemic demand of GPU and all chips/computer stuff went up and scalpers also capitalized on that even more. Gaming industry is growing too and so frankly gamers are also driving the price because of this up lately. More GPUs for PC gaming has been sold lately last couple years than for crypto mining In regards to crypto bitcoin for example doesn't even use GPU's. Well you can but generally not as effective. Some coins do use GPU like Ethereum. Some just use CPU or even internet. Heck a lot of them you can't even "mine" period.

What a great title. Can’t believe it tricked me into watching a 15 minute video on basic liquidity lol Curious to see how 2022-2025 plays out for Russia/China. It’s looking like the beginning of the end… Europe signed a death pact and they’re dragging Russia down with them. China has 10 serious structural issues and economic slowdown is bringing them all to a head this decade. Maybe Peter Zeihan wasn’t so crazy when he said the PRC wouldn’t survive to 2030, at least without major structural changes

How cant the rouble jump in value? What is it compare to when roubles are only useful in Russia, no one would take them?
@charzheng1832
@charzheng1832 Жыл бұрын
Your explanation is very on point. However, your personal opinion (or analysis) are way off. Russia's problem are solved initially with capital control, increase interest rates up to 20% (now much lower) and finally demanding ruble for energy purchases by westerns nation. It was a economical attack by the Western countries and openly stealing Russia Euro and Dollar deposited in western banks (illegal). With Crypto it is a traditional bank run where lenders lend out crypto or money with fixed date terms, but did not do the same with depositors. Therefore depositors were enjoying long term deposit yield but without the long term redeem dates. Crypto market drop is not because of Luna UST collapse, it was the selling of assets to unwind leverage, and bank run withdrawals. As with China's bank run, it was several local county banks the collapse, these several banks cease to operate, therefore depositors were unable to withdrawal. The banks failed to file for depositors insurances, therefore initially the central bank can not do anything about it. After the protest and the escalation to the regional government with the petition of the local government , the Central Bank took over the situation by merging the failed banks with an regional bank chain to assume all assets, liabilities, and depositors accounts. The central bank will cover the depositors. These procedures are also used in the U.S.A. The Central Bank of China, just like the FDIC and Federal reserve, they can print unlimited amount of paper money. Therefore your opinion and logic does not make senses here. Please remember, China is huge, there are 100,000 banks, and credit unions. The central government and central bank can not and will not be able focus on every little issues that comes up. Just imagine the Supreme Court of the United States hearing every case file in the USA.

BTC's price has been fluctuating lately, buying the capitulation isn't a tough call, but it is a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. The good thing about the space is that you can buy the dips and put them into active trades, while confidently waiting for a pump in price because it is inevitable. Most people do not understand how the space works. Your advantage is understanding , Charts won’t guarantee what an asset is going to do. Prices will go up or down. Nevertheless, the market has been so profitable despite price ups and down. I've always played safe implementing trades with insights and signals from a renowned trader, Mrs Stacy Huth. I made 8.5 BTC from the recent crash in the market last week.

In respect to trusting that crypto currency can deliver what it claims, is in my opinion where the problem is in the crypto market. This market used to claim total secrecy. But sometime last year when Russians blackmailed a US gas company and were offered millions of dollars to free up their computers, it turns out that the FBI had inserted themselves in that transaction, found out who the criminals were and collected most of the ransom monies. Crypto could not guarantee secrecy or anything else.
