Any numbers on O/O that quit the business? Also numbers of lease operators that walked away?

While large trucking companies are failing, let's think of small companies, too. If small companies can't get off the ground, what are we yearning for? Credit is not business life, nor are red tape and category fees. It's not the time to make tiny tweaks to the trucking and freight companies. It's the right time to stare at the fundamental flaws of our transportation culture, and those flaws are loathe, jealousy, and complacency. The trucking world is unrewarding.

Wow, very well said. Here’s what I find interesting. I had a KZbinr reach out to me for, “proof”, of my paycheck stubs from 20 years ago. I made $65k in 04’, driving local and home daily. Trucking hasn’t seen a raise in, well, two decades; yes the move around to appear drivers are making money them that’s just not reality. If the companies who have access to credit, should have more cash flow are struggling the forecast going forward doesn’t look good. Wages must increase for recruitment, retention and retention. These trucking companies since I’ve been in the industry 96’, have gone through many generations of men and women. Now that the truth is coming out about trucking, they are forced to hire immigrants to service our own country. Just think if we got rid of all immigrants in trucking, America would be in serious trouble. Stay safe

@Robert-bt8cp Just think about yourself and who you are training. Credit is nobody's friend.

I keep saying they are not going to raise the rates to where it's needed to run this operation. The cost is to high

Im am owner op. Every time I see a bigger carrier with semi decent trucks I think to myself must be nice, to have all those new toys. And here we are RBX was one of those. They have some decent all yellow trucks. Good thing I haven’t filed for bankruptcy but it makes me feel a bit better. If they can’t make it work with all those trucks then what can I do?
