I want hair down to my knees or just around my butt. I cut it 4 years ago to my neck and regretted it immediately. My stylist told me that I would never go back after cutting my hair, (meaning that I would never want it long again) but he was entirely wrong. Let it grow and only trim it.

In middle school I used to have hair down to my butt that was dyed pink and purple and then I chopped it off and had shoulder length hair. Then I got a pixie cut when I was like a junior and I wish I'd just let it grow out instead of cutting it even shorter lol. It is hilarious to see the entitlement and the ignorance in the comment section. The video clearly feeds the trolls with shock value. Even the music makes it sound like a comedy. I dream of the day long hair is shown on a TV piece in a respectful manner but media is poison that caters to the ignorant. How hard is to show the reality of it, how it is not such a hassle or a freaky thing. And how we are all normal people... Speaking from a long hair point of view and experience, no she usually does not drag her hair on the floor. One does not get to that length by wearing their hair down. Every day. That's why most people don't get long hair because it suffers mechanical damage to the point of breakage and needs trimming all the time. If she wore it down, it was clearly for the video and their sensationalist approach and hey guess what? She can always wash it! Water is a wonderful thing. She does not need to donate to whatever bloody association there is. Hair does not cure cancer or alopecia. And it is far more useful to donate blood. If you still think she should, why don't you grow yours and do it? Hair takes years to grow and it is a part of yourself, you don't get to decide what others do with their money or body. Just because it seems like an expenditure for you to spare a couple of feet, that is not the case for the owner. It takes decades to grow. Decades. Also, it is not that troublesome or a chore to take care of it like many think. Obviously, when it gets past a socially accepted length, it is a hobby and a pleasure for the person. You do not wash it every day. Once or twice a week if you have no scalp issues is perfectly fine. Therefore, the time you take washing it does not make it such a huge hassle. Also, every morning, to just toss it in a bun with a hairstick takes five minutes or to make an English braid is far easier than styling layered dyed hair. Think about all the time and money most ladies spend, going to the salon to trim every couple of months, straightening it, blow drying it, dying it or styling it, every single morning. When long hair can just be put up with a fork or stick and you are ready to go. You do not use half a bottle of shampoo. You don't need to. A little amount goes a long way. People use way too much product and then complain their hair or scalp is drying out. You use more conditioner though but nothing life shattering specially because you do not wash your hair that often and you keep it up and it stays protected. They speak Latvian in Latvia. She is Crimean therefore the Russian language being spoken. And above all, she has long hair because she wants to and can. Not everyone can grow to the floor or even to classic. Her hair is exceptionally thick. That, to me, is the most impressive part. There is only taper at ankle or so. That is unbelievable. A woman with such genes is blessed and it is a privilege to see such beauty. It is an ode to mother nature. Also, her hair is in top condition. Super healthy from roots to tips. That just shows how careful and mindful she is and how good she takes care of it. It is not for everyone. Specially in this day and age where people have no patience for anything and always get brainwashed into trying the latest crap there is on tv or magazine. She is the proof there are still some strong willed people in this world. Long live long haired women and men.
