My dad killed himself when I was 3 months old exactly. His favorite band was creed. I’ve been thru hell and back with life and thats real. Started running recently and it’s saved my life. That’s also real. Physically I’ve always been good. Mentally not at all. When I run I’ll listen to nothing or to creed. When I listen to creed, it’s if he’s talking to me and I’ve never heard his voice before. I’m trying to build good Habits. Staying consistent. So that I can have a family, be there and be square. I’m proud to say I am turning the leaf, but still working daily. I take playing creed at the beginning as a small sign to continue to keep up and not stop. Thanks nick for the motivation : RIP POPS

RIP to your dad ❤ and thank you for sharing with us family! Stay the course, you just motivated me to go hard on my workout in a few hours as well as Nick and I'll dedicate every workout session for the rest of this year to listen to some creed for you and Pops because WHAT IF WHAT IF WHAT IF WHAT IF WHAT IF IIIIIIII 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 Go one more brothaman peace and love

Man, if feel you so deeply in my soul. In 2012 I was catapulted into a very dark place by the actions of someone I trusted for nearly 25 years. It was a living hell. My life was thrown into a sobering reality and in order to recover, I knew a huge part of my journey was physical, getting back into shape again for the sake of being at a body type that is sexy enough to attract a new lady. So, I took my pain and my playlist and made a commitment to rid myself of the agonizing reality. I ended up living in my car for a few months at my lowest point and I felt no one in the world cared. I was in the darkest place of my life by far. Everything hit me but I kept on pushing and laying down the miles. Went through 7 pairs of running shoes during the deepest part of my pain. I got down with the spiritual part of my pain and managed to find a recovery group that helped me breathe again and kept working toward the life I desired. In 2016 I met my princess. She's everything I could ever have desired in a woman. She's my joy in this life and I have no one else I can lean on or trust, so she's pretty special to my soul. I know my spiritual recovery was a huge part in finding this kind of love in my life. My darkness went away. Far away. She has helped me to get to a place I never knew before and I am so grateful for another chance at life to keep breathing and live with a hope for eternity. That's a great victory and a hope I will never let go of. I'm working hard on my physical man and I'm a spiritual beast as well, so something beautiful came out of the devastation and I will never stop working on my mind, which was twisted and lost, my body, which was overweight and out of shape, and most importantly my spirit which is alive forever thanks to God bringing me a woman who helps me keep it together in ways I didn't know I could. Thank you GOD!

When you redo it, try to hold exactly your average pace that you hit on this row, perhaps minus a little bit or go unrestricted the last 500m. You definitely have a faster 2k in you, since the exponential power curve means that the little bit of extra distance from the faster pace came at the price of a disproportionate power output. In other words, if you held exactly a 1:36.5 pace, you would have expended less energy than hitting that average pace while being quite a bit below and above that average. Your 1:32 pace was requiring 449 watts but the 1:36.5 average would require 389. I bet you can hold your 500 split paces to within +- 1/2 second, so even just doing 1:36 for all the rows shaves off 2 seconds. I can't wait to see the redo! Impressive row. I enjoyed the video tremendously.

You can set the rower workout for a 2 k and then you can look at monitor and it will tell you your finish time while rowing and then it gets you to push a little harder during the row. Pretty cool option on the rower.

Someone may have asked this question previously. What is the damper set at on the rower and have you set it to represent the correct drag factor? Rowing form needs slight adjustment. In turn, better form equals faster time because you are getting the absolute most out of what you’re putting in. Very rounded coming into the catch. Back should be straight not hunched (like your sitting at attention), shins vertical. I was taught to think of it this way from start to finish: legs, back, arms|arms, back, legs. Arms pass over knees before you bend them. Pivot at the hips. Takes lots of practice. With the power you have man, you will kill it.

Wonder when they will spinoff BPN to BPmedia...seems like a scalable business they could rock. Helping other athletes create content that bom owns a share of. I have never bought a BPN product but consume the media for years. Would be interesting to see what share of sales is driven from the media group.
