Two interesting facts about this scene in latino: 1) When it was aired for the first time in Latin America, we got the version without the song (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZOZfYmjeahsodE). This version you saw, was aired years later. 2) Gohan's voice was interpreted by Laura Torres, who said in an interview that she cried while performing the scream. She screamed so hard, that she damaged her voice and the production had to stop for a couple of weeks while she recovered. She's a fcking legend.

Yes, In the Latin version without music you can feel way more the pain and anger that gohan is been holding for so long, and the explosion of feelings he's letting go.

@@cesc71992 Yes, Gloria Rocha, the director of production, had the same feeling about the scene without the music. That's why she produced it that way. If I'm not mistaken. Years later, the scene was reviewed by Toriyama's studio and they requested the scene with the music... but don't quote me on that. I don't remember where I read it.

Have been following you for a couple months, love your reactions. I have to agree with some of the comments. I am from Peru as well and remember watching the DBZ latino version as a a teenager: Dont get me wrong, the english dub is better than most but there are some moments that just feel more powerful in the latino version .Goku vs Vegeta, Goku Super Saiyan, Tien's attack vs. Semi perfect Cell (epic IMO), Vegetas final flash against Cell, Gohan's SS2 transformation to name a few.

Hello, when I first saw the 184 and you started the episode with the japanese song, I got really excited, when she reacted to his SSJ2 transformation was great but I admit I was bit disappointed it wasn't the japanese version then you upload the japanese and now this one, HATS OFF RESPECT. What I encourage you to do if, you havent done so already, listen to the song with translated lyrics even just the first few words if you listen closely is "Messiah Messiah" but yea highly recommend to look it up at one point. Thank you guys for making us relive this amazing journey! PS: Little fun fact in the latino version gohan is voiced by Laura Torres a woman

Bravooo. There is no match with latino version. DBZ and The Simpsons in Latino version are too attractive to our ears. Wait to hear, Freezer, Garlic Jr, and Gokus transformation into super Saiyan 1 . They give you chills. L GOKU, BROLY and CELL are the best latino voice dubs. (Also Vegita and Picolo) Keep doing latino content and you guys will turn this into a booster channel. If I were to break it down by character and version, it would be something like this: Gohan: Japanese > Latino > English Cell: Latino > Japanese > English 16: English > Japanese > Latino Cell sounds like the devil in the Latino version. If the Latino version was given the same Oozaru roar as the Japanese version, it'd be the winner for me by a slight edge.

I think the english version of this scene is one of the worst. German version is not much better, but the lack of internal monologue is just the key in this scene. The audience doesnt need a constant reminder how to feel, just let it play out by it self, the audience isnt braindead.
