Android 8 appears on episode 285 of Dragonball Z, when Goku is forming the Spirit Bomb to throw at Kid Buu. There are also other cameos in that episode, like Upa (the guardian tribe of Korin Tower) and Android 17. It also appears on episode 40 of Dragonball GT, when Goku is (bloopers bloopers) from Earth.

By the way, Toriyama wasn't making fun or mocking at Bruce Lee lol it's comedy but Toriyama is a huge fan of Bruce Lee especially Enter the Dragon that Dragon Ball is named after besides Journey to the West also a huge thing in this series by the way his gloves are a reference to when Bruce Lee wear it in the beginning of Enter the Dragon where Bruce was fighting a Tournament but i think if Bruce Lee himself where to be alive and read Dragon Ball he would take this lightheartedly

On this episode the police guy basically looked for Bulma's info on what seems to be some kind of cellphone. This show is from the 80s, when something like this couldn't happen in the real world. I also remember how Trunks had a smartwatch, but most people doing reactions these days don't realize that when this anime was made there were no cellphones nor smartwatches, all of those devices were futuristic stuff back then, and I guess on this fictional futuristic world they could also have something similar to Netflix. We don't have flying/hover cars yet, though. Back To The Future and Dragon Ball didn't get that right, not yet. Well, today there are flying cars that are like big drones, but they are not used by everybody yet like cellphones or smartwatches. Maybe in 20 or 30 years people will watch and react to Dragon Ball and will see the flying/hovercars as a normal thing and won't realize that those were supposed to be futuristic things when the manga and the show were made, lol.

They should definitely watch it with the original music which is like a billion times better than the american music used for the english dub. Not sure if there is an english version that keeps the original japanese music though.

@@claudioadriano5422 No, in the US dub the original japanese music was not used, for the whole episodes, not just the intros, iirc the people working on this english dub hired an american composer to make new music that was more electronic, and I like electronic music but you can't just change the original music of an anime like DBZ, the american version is much worse just because of that imo, it's like if someone replaced the John Williams music for some dubstep sh*t in the original Star Wars movies, it's just ridiculous imo. If you've watched this channels' DBZ reactions, they reacted to the US dub with the electronic music, which Baris seems to love, I guess because he grew up with it, but it's just terrible, lol. Afaik everywhere else in the world we had the original music in all the different dubs, that's why watching DBZ with this american music feels so weird.

Grew up watching DB and DBZ with the original music and watching americans reacting to the english dub with the american music just ruins the show imo, it's like watching the original Star Wars movies with John Williams score being replaced by some cheap techno music, and I usually love techno/electronic music but it feels sooo out of place and wrong... The original music is EPIC and irreplaceable.
