This video never gets old, been back to view it loads of times over the years its been on youtube. I am waiting to take delivery of what will be my second 2019 r1m since 2020(i sold the first one to buy a 2020 BMW s1000rr m sport and then moved on to a 2022 rsv4 factory). They are an awesome bike after a few aftermarket modifications, the only other bike i liked as much was the 2022 rsv4 factory but it kept breaking down. The R1-R1M sound the best of all the superbike class, to my ears at least.

Without sounding all "Internet tough guy" I'd have to agree the nuda sounds good with a full system on it but it is a twin sound....Ive owned alot of different engine configurations and the v4 is the best.... I'd say the only one that comes close is ironically royal Jordanians s1000r at full chat... Go look for his video of him going through the tunnels... I almost bought one based on that video!

Heh. The big bang firing order is like "v4 wannabe" :) it's kinda there.... But not quite... I suppose if im really critical my rsv4 sounded more throaty with the stock headers and an Austin tail pipe with baffle. Since I've changed to a full akra system with the evo link added in to the headers its a tad quieter but with more depth, but still IMO better than the r1... A tuono 1100 with a full system.... Youve got a bit more displacement there.... Now that'd have me creaming my pan.

Sadly I had to sell it because my lack of willpower would have surely either killed me or more likely lost me my licence for a very long time. The bike sounds ferocious, I and many others hate clickbait, it's for wankers perpetuated by the top youtubers so now the smaller ones feel it's the only way to get people in, it isn't, create good content and you'll get noticed, the problem is, people want the fame and fortune straight away and unfortunately it doesn't always work like that.

hmm - but the point has kinda been proved with this video - Its got the same number of views in 24hrs as my previous video did in 4 weeks. Clearly more people want to watch fast bikes rather than touring bikes, i get that - but the actual content in the last tour series is so much more engaging than a loud exhaust. THIS is the current state of affairs across social media. And actually, its the title that made them click - regardless of what is said in a video - its the title that draws them in - so ladies and gentlemen..... clickbait and over sensationalising works. sad.

It's a sad state indeed but don't forget you've got the popularity behind you and when you don't upload for a month and then suddenly upload, people are more aware of it rather than if you uploaded once or twice a week where they'll get used to you if you get me. Your title isn't really clickbait aside from the all caps, it's just a good title because it's not misleading or unfounded, it really is a phenomenal sound and the vlog contains that sound over and over again. But yes, clickbait and over sensationalising really does work, unfortunately.

You mentioned that the pops and crackles are due to your bike being "overfueled". This is not the case. Bikes typically run lean from the factory to meet emissions regulations and when you put a very high-flowing exhaust without a tune, your bike becomes even leaner. It seems counter-intuitive but your bike is actually quite lean.

Sounds beautiful! - Fantastic! As you know its not overfueled the pair injection system is pushing air into the exhaust and its igniting - you need some really good tuning of the ecu fueling tables to get it running right off idle through 5k rpms don't worry about absolute HP go for mid range and throttle pick up off the apex just my 2c
