Barreled under Sketchy Lava Rock Cliff on Hydrofoil

The last time I foiled under the cliffs of Uluwatu my favorite foil board got destroyed on the rocks! My buddy from France, Tom was kind enough to fly out to bring me his personal kit from Phantom Foiling. I was excited to try some new gear and it didn't disappoint. OMG, shooting those rocks is so sketchy. That's razor sharp lava rock in there -- face planting at high speed would be devastating. Be careful, dude. Those 360s at the end are next level. Kai's always pushing the limits.

Having done this on a surf board a handful of times, I'm amazed you guys got that close to the edge without hitting the foil on the outer secondary ledge that you walk over on low tide. On a good day by the way, there actually is a real barrel in line with the rock right before you reach the rock. Only on smaller days. (shoulder to overhead). But if you pull in, chances are you wont shoot the rock because of that wave lag behind the rock. Next video take the boat around the overlook at lurches and weave around the rocks under the temple. :D That is also a fun wave.
