What a session, you guys have got the camera angles so wired and that sky 🤩🤩 Difficult to get barrelled on a foil, the foil height makes you too tall to get covered up unless it's massive, mmm need to find bigger waves 😉🤘

Haha yeh it’s trippy for sure. When the filming is dynamic like some of these shots with pass bys etc it gives an illusion of it being faster as well. What do you mean by that? 2 small foils side by side? As in 2 masts?

Yeh so having 2 foils in a series would mean you wouldn’t be able to turn at all. It works on boats that only need to go straight on flat water. That’s doesn’t work in a surfing environment when you need to turn on a dime and pivot off the mast. And I most definitely need the stabiliser at the back otherwise my pitch would be out of control. It’s impossible to ride a wave without a stabiliser (I’ve tried it) as it’s needed to stabilise the pitch of the ride at speed. I like the outside of the box thinking but unfortunately it doesn’t work like you think it would 🤙🏼

You should try it, it will change your life. I surfed for 20+ years - 10 of those professionally - and haven’t surfed since I started foiling 5 years ago. It’s like surfing on steroids!

Yeh to be honest, the foil doesn’t belong in a barrel. The reward is not worth the risk. Better off leaving the tubes to short boards 🤙🏼

So sick! You guys are pushing the envelope to new boundaries. Quick question about managing two boards on the ski. Where and how do you place the 2nd board when towing up so the board/foil doesn't interfere with the rope?

Thanks! I strap it to the seat by laying the mast across the 3rd seat of the ski and strap it to the back handles of the seat using 15cm tie down straps 🤙🏼

Yeh you’re right, a surfboard definitely woulda been better for getting barrelled this day, but then I wouldn’t have gotten all the other good rides which was way funner than being on a surfboard 🤙🏼
