the 3 horses seem to get along nicely together, happy, comfortable with the horse beside them.. "I've had a lifetime with'em, and I'd like another one to try and get it right.." well worth repeating.. Thank you Barry..

What a great video that didn't show up in my sub box at all even though I've been subbed to your channel for years! I'm so glad I thought to check for new videos. I love trandems because you get to see more horse personalities in one video.

Hi from Upstate New York. I have a very well broke Appaloosa gelding that is level headed and a wonderful manner. He's broke as a roping and cutting horse, my question is do you think he's to old to be broke to drive? What is the oldest horse you've trained to drive.. I have a 10 hand miniature Leopard Appaloosa driving pony actually the picture next to my name is my pony. They are matched just their height is different. LOL

One of the oldest horses Barry has broken to drive was rising 17 and a retired point-to-point (racehorse) horse. He and his owner needed a 'quieter' occupation in their retirement years and so she sent him to us for breaking. As he was a fit horse, he took easily to the work and she now takes him out to do her shopping! Maybe you could drive your two as a tandem (one in front of the other) or alternatively, take a look at our mismatched pair videos to see miniatures driving up alongside old Roly!

A man from Canada called Stan Garchinski wrote the song especially for Barry and performed it with his band.

Does it not annoy them when their ribs touch each other?

Jo Allan And I hope they don’t step on each other. Such a pretty trio

If you watch, they are not constantly touching, but when they do there is no reaction. All three of these boys had worked in a pair before, so were used to the feel of another horse alongside them. If you think of a herd running together, they may jostle eachother anyway. With the right training, horses can get used to anything.
