@@MountainMan. there have been serial killers in every decade going back to 1700s and probably long before that. There are currently 50-200 (depending on who’s gathering the data) serial killers in the United States. I personally have been in close proximity to four since the mid 80s and have even spoken to one (of course I didn’t know he was a sk but I did get a weird vibe and immediately excused myself from the conversation). I’m sure I’m not alone. If you research sk’s in the area and time you lived there you’ll probably find out you’ve been close to a few of them yourself. Have fun lol

Player had a couple of other "hits" one of which was " This Time I'm In It For Love" but back then if you didn't produce a top ten hit on the charts... problems would slowly creep in. Eventually there was a lawsuit. Over time there were about 18 different members of Player. At any rate we do have this song to remind us of how beautiful that great harmonies sounded. Take care..

This was all over the radio back in the late 70s. It was classified as yacht rock. Player had a few other songs but this was their big hit, actually hitting at #1 on billboard . Not sure why they broke up but one member of the group went on to act in a TV soap opera show. Thanks for the great review. 👏👏🥰🇨🇦
@JamesBond-ib9tq10 ай бұрын
"Yacht Rock" wasn't an official classification for the music produced during that time period (late 70s-early 80s) which was basically soft rock and adult contemporary and the term really originated in around 2005. Many successful artists like Hall and Oates, Steely Dan, Boz Scaggs, etc. found it offensive for their music to be associated with this new sub genre of music.
