I just played this video for my husband, Peter Beckett, who wrote and sang Baby Come Back. I should've recorded his reaction to it. He was cracking up, loved it. Thanks for the great "reaction." Peter will be touring with Ambrosia this year. August-November 2021

On Oct 11, 2021 I had a heart attack and suffered an Anoxic brain injury, and was Placed into a medically induced coma. My wife played this song on repeat because I would play it to her and she hoped it would bring me back. I awake (this means I started remembering things) towards the end of Oct and have been recovering since. This song has so much more meaning than it did!! Love this song.

That's true love 👍 I had a heart attack/cardiac arrest in 2011 age 50 . I drove myself to hospital 6 miles away ,arrived at A&E and said to the receptionist I think I'm having a heart attack, and collapsed into cardiac arrest, I was also put into an induced coma and whisked to the heart hospital in London . My wife n family were in bits .but fortunately I survived . We are so lucky to be here today. Oh and this track is absolutely brilliant..love it 😁👍🎶

There will never be music like the 70s AM rock that your friends would beat you up if you admit that you dig it but now years later it puts a smile on your face. There were so many soulful bands in the 70s especially some of the white boys, Player, Hall&Oats, and many others, Wild Cherry from my neck of the woods with their hit Play That Funky Music, these guys grew up and idolized Black Motown artist and it shows in their music. I was probably 6,7,8 year's old but I remember all the music and just how great it was.

That song stands the test of time. It's fresh year after year. I was in Nashville and went to the country music hall of fame. They pay homage to the writers as much as the musicians. And for good reason. Getting a hit or top ten song is one in a million. A 1 in a million song thst stands the test of time is a miracle. I rate this one a solid 10. Very few that I do.

This is an EXCELLENT song from back in my day. I have fond memories listening to this hit that was all over the radio. The musicality and vocals is pristine for the time, all natural and very impressive to this very day it's appreciated. Congratz to the members of PLAYER, Peter Beckett's vocals are amazing. Even Ronn Moss (although he continued on as a soap opera actor [Ridge Forrester] on The Bold and the Beautiful!!!)

50's, 60's and the 70's had the best music genre's of all time. The musicians today seem more focused on the industry of music more than the quality of it's sound. Autotune and computerized sound are the fashion today and it's sad, and these classic gems reveal the difference. You can use part's of a classic as a sample for modern music, but you can't replicate the heart, desire and talent of the musicians that modern music is founded on. You can't replicate it's original intent, to please the audience, not the manager's of record labels or social media views.
