Do you recommend switching from Canon EOS to the XT3? The EOS has been good, but I’m not a big fan of all the controls (ISO, aperture, etc.) being on the screen. Unless I’m just missing something.

Thank you for this video! I just got my xt-3. Ive set up already a few things but I have one thing that I dont know what its called and how to change - my cam always takes three pictures with different shutter speeds (-20, 0, +20). Its a nice feature but I dont want it right now and dont remember Ive seen it in the menu. Where can I change this feature? Thx!

So, you have the physical knobs on top but you can still change ISO or shutter electronically? Sounds confusing. Which takes priority? Do Fuji cameras come with actual paper user manuals?

An interesting and informative guide to the XT3. However the comments about the jump between 1/1000 and 1/2000 being a big jump, yes it is but it is the same jump between 1/60 and 1/125, it is a doubling of exposure or in other words just one stop change

If you are all about performance, it would say go with Sony. If you want simplicity and great color profile right out of camera, then I would say go Fuji. If its all about low light performance, go Sony. If you like the manual dials and really tactile feeling camera, go with Fuji. That about the best I can do.

Since there is a manual shutter control, how can you change the speed with the back dial? You mean you could have manual control knob set on 1/400 but then, via the back dial change it to 1/800? That sounds very confusing to have the manual knob on one setting and the actual shutter speed on something else.
@WaiYingLam

Yes it's a bit weird, with the back dial, you can change the shutter speed to another number but when you change the control knob, it will override what was dialed in.

Hello Wai Lam, I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong here. I just got my XT-3 and I have been playing around the various simulations eterna, velvia, acros etc. I have my setting to capture raw and fine. When I view my files in Capture One and Lightroom, I notice that the RAF files have the simulations baked into them. I was expecting the files to be flat, in which I then edit to my liking using the editor of choice. Am I checking something that shouldn't be checked? I am using the latest version firmware 3.0 Any suggestions or solutions?
