Runners were always the style since the 80s in NYC. NB was the first $100 sneaker.

You got 100 shoes and maybe 5 pairs of pants. Stop talking and worry about other stuff.

Nothing worst than a cat who got 500 pair of shoes and 2 pair of pants.

I'm older than Dre... always been into kicks. NEVER was out only buying or started copping kicks because of basketball. I started on vans and airwalk in 94. After skateshoes I graduated to runners. It wasn't until a decade ago where I started grabbing the 90s bball kicks from Nike. Nikes turf sneakers/football stuff was totally heavily desired by me then and now. But I don't know why this guy is acting like some of us in our 40s started this off bball shoe hype. That's a lie. So many of us overseas love jogging shoes and make up a great deal of the fashion kind of people you see buying kicks.

@@willsalter8113😅 no you just wanna argue in a comments section. I'm from the era of the crusty old pics he sent. He responded to someone who asked who is wearing KDa that isn't balling. Dre as I stated acted like all of us from the late 80s or 90s copped kicks due to a basketball influence. And he HAS stated he knows the Gel was a tech runner that had a wave on its release late 80s early 90s, so he didn't necessarily need to make a post answering someone's rhetoric 😂. I actually like him post kicks and know my sneaker history and people in the same era of crusty pics he posted was rocking sambas with Umbro shorts. 😂 Not everyone who loves kicks got into kicks due to basketball influence. I understand HE did. And the people he pictured.
